The best prank I played was when I was young and It was a 3 part prank I played on my dad first one I put dirty face soap in bathroom when he had washed his face he looked like he'd been up the chimneys! Then I gave him laxative sweets and lastly I stuck a fake indent sticker on his van and he was convinced one of the local kids had bashed it playing football it took him days to go up to the van and check it closer! his face was priceless!

A favourite, and fairly harmless one, we used to play was way back in college. We could be torturous to one another and as such, our dorm rooms were locked even when we were inside...but we found a way around that

We'd wait until the person was out or asleep and slide a standard balloon halfway under the door. From the outside, you'd spray it full of shaving cream until capacity (ie ready to burst). Then, with a stiff yank, you'd pull it out toward you. The full balloon obviously could not slide back under, so it would explode on the inside of the door.

An exploded balloon full of shaving cream can have quite the um...dramatic effect.
If the person were out, they'd come to a soap filled room..but if they were in bed? heehee..BANG! and SPLOOSH! (oh...and run, lol)

The best prank i ever done was for my friends birthday.  We all went out clubbing that night and i got the first taxi home in front of my friend got out a can of shaving foam and wrote all over the car with it . She got home about 5 mins later to find her car covered with happy birthday and jokey messages the look on her face was a picture.

She though it was that funny that she didnt clean it off straight away and went round the town the next day with all the cars beeping at her and laughing at it  . Ever since i have to watch my car as i know payback will come sooner or later 

Where I worked it was all guys and I was the only female.  I was the administrator and collected all the paperwork from the guys daily.  I always told the guys to kindly rip off the spines on both sides as it was a hassle to do it at the end of the day (hundreds of papers).  Anyways, there was one guy who would leave them for me and I decided I was going to play a prank on him.  For about 6 months I saved up all the spines from his paperwork and on AFD I plastered his truck with them.  I mean he couldn't even see out his windows.  I used a light adhesive or tape which didn't make so much work to get off.  I also plastered the outside of his truck.  On the top where he couldn't see I stuck a banner that said 'I'VE BEEN PRANKED" so the whole town would see.  It took him quite a while to get them all off.  But the night before I went to work after hours and went into the men's bathroom with saran wrap.  I wrapped the toilet seat with it.  Even with the light on you can't see the saran wrap and so when they went to take a leak..well you can imagine.  I got 4 of the guys that day before anyone figured out who did it.  I felt sorry for the cleaning lady though..lol

my best prank was on my wife we have 2 remotes for tv one original and one universal and alwayas when she was watching her programs i switched them coupl of time she was sow pissed thought the tv is honted
