Beware of comp points. Cash them in- no prob. Win a random jackpot-big prob. You can't cash in the jackpot! You can only cash in your comp points times 10. This just happened to a friend of mine and he is livid! He doesn't have a nice thing to say about online gambling! He happened to be playing at Palace of Chance. The friendly chat folks told him to read T&C's, then had the nerve to congratulate him on his winning a jackpot!

Well, not surprised about that. Of course I consider POC a Piece Of C..p.

Have your friend come here (If he doesn't already) and learn the casinos to trust and not to. Plus his experience is a great lesson in reading the T&C of all casinos.

That is really low of them, but like I said. Not surprising.

Are you saying that while using comp points he hit a jackpot
and they said you can't cash out a jackpot while using comp points?

This is something i never knew myself, i had no idea there was restrictions
on using comp points, aren't those built on money you have used in
the casino?

If anyone knows more please post, geez i've got alot to learn..

Please do LOTS of RESEARCH on the casinos. As far as I can tell the ones giving all the free chips all the time are ROGUES...bad, bad, bad! They use the chips to lure you in, but you won't get out of there with a win even if you done everything right. So just be careful.

Comp points, under most casino's Terms and conditions are treated exactly like other bonus monies. Similar to a managers comp, a birthday comp, a Oop's we goofed comp, they will have their own conditions for play.

Once again, the importance of reading the terms and conditions, prior to claiming ANY bonus, prior to depositing ANY money, prior to spinning ANY reels.

Soda69 earlier posted a very neat and concise method he uses At one of the Virtual Group Casino's and low and behold... He gets Paid. Yes still slow...

For comp points, in most cases they will have a set playthrough, and occasionaly they will have no max cashout... but this is rare. Typically it will be between 2x-5x the value of the cashin.

On the other hand, having a pocketful of comp points on record does seem to get you more and better bonus offers and is often a determining factor in having status raised to VIP levels

I would of been screaming, ranting and raving, callin them
crooks, theives.. and every other name in the book..
Being that i tried to cash-out a jackpot won with my
comp points.. finding out i couldn't.
Because again i did NOT read and understand terms and conditions
and also support being so rude.

Who would be wrong, who's fault? MINE  Embarrassed

But now i do know and i will do more research, although
i haven't cashed in my comp points i let them build lol

Thank you Jimb, i actually did not know this...
But i think before i used the comp points i would of read up on them.
I want to bring this to the attention of others incase they didn't know either.

I have requested to be taken off all bonuses of the online casinos I play.  Let us think with a business head here:  The purpose of the bonus is to keep you playing; hence, the greater chance you will loose your bankroll.  Yes, there are the few who hit the $10,000 jackpot on their last $1 spin, but those are rare.  I like to be able to cash out at any time.

There was a time i when i didn't like taking bonuses too. Although I still don't really like free n/d bonuses (i use them when given but try to make it or break it quick), I have come to really like match deposit bonuses. Again depending on the site and it's t&cs. Some may look at it as a scheme to intice players to keep playing but actually i really do see it for what it is - a bonus. At the right casino, meeting wager requirements is not as bad as it may seem - frankly i have found them to be easy to playthrough. Making a deposit with a bonus allows me to have more chips enabling me to increase my waging range. A perfectly timed max. bet could be all you need to cruise through the playthrough and eventually cashout.

hey jimbeaux - as you stated for comp points "under most" - here is a casino that is not in this category where comp points = real cash (no restrictions, withdrawable)

I copied a chat transcript from Jackpot Capital;

Caleb: good night How may I help you?
soda69: i'm just have a question about comp points...and how it varies from site to site
soda69: most sites when redeeming comp pts redeem them as bonus money...but i believe Jackpot Capital is different
Caleb: ok
soda69: its considered cash here and withdrawable - no restrictions. correct?
Caleb: at jackpot capital your comp point is redeemed as cash
soda69: no wager requirements or restrictions to cash out
Caleb: that is correct
soda69: great...i knew there was one...

Hi loricky

The best thing to do is at the casino and before you deposit
talk with live support, and get your answers, a good question to ask
is will everything be okay if i want to withdrawal. (save chat info)

Also check, some online casino limit the amount you can take per week. Say you win 50k, they may only pay you 3 - 5k a week.

My advice, and keep in mind I am an employee of an online casino, but I love to play. I never take the bonus anymore myself, I prefer REBATES/ CHASBACK at month end. Even if not advertised, by not taking bonus, a 25% cash back at months end is normal. (Usually they require like 200 or more for the month though  in losses) Can't hurt to ask!

(PLUG ALERT****Yes we do cashbacks also*** END OF PLUG)

If you want a lot of time to play, and fun, take the bonus though. You can get a lot of action!

Good Luck!

ALWAYS read the terms peeps...always. Open an online wallet if you can cause withdrawal is always quicker.
