What time of day is better to play?
« on: October 15, 2010, 03:39:02 PM »
Hey gang,

I have a question, do you guys think a certain time of day is better to play at any casino? I have heard that early morning is better, the late afternoon etc.

I seem to do the best at most casino in the very early hours of the morning like 2 am. But I have had some good runs during the after noons too. So not really sure if there is a "better" time to play, so to speak.

Any thoughts?

Interesting question! I have been thinking the same but come to the conclusion that it probably doesn't matter. When you wrote my time was 9.39pm, so late at night. I have no idea what your time was, but I am sure it is not the same, so who's time do we go after? :D :D

I like to play in the morning.  Trying to play in the evening you're so wrapped up in the day it's hard for me to relax.  Plus it seems I don't win as much after noon.

In microgaming casinos, it doesn't matter what time of the day, for regular game play that is.  If I started a new set of spins after a bonus round and stopped at 30 spins, it will stay at that particular spin.  I could leave that game for a week, and return to the exact screen.

I used to say I hit much better during the evening/night here in Europe on Microgaming games.
For the last 5 weeks I cant hit anything anyway, no matter the time, so I'm not sure.
Tried Betway yesterday, played in the early afternoon to see if that would be better, nope.
One way traffic to the zero. Just like the 17 deposits before that.
My worst losingstreak ever on MG.

Never noticed any difference with Rival or RTG.
Had great runs both day and night.

Definitely late at night...

Not sure if it pays better but I have too much going on at day light(ha ha) to enjoy or concentrate...this is one of the reasons why I don't really enjoy the land based casinos cause of too many peeps...yup, I like it when there is SILENCE...When the monkeys are in the bed, when everything quiets down... I am finally free and that's when I play.  :-[

Thats true but does that tell that the slot already premade the next spins before you even clicked, cause ive seen a few people saying the same thing, like everyone got there "own" slot in the casino.

To me, it's better to play when I just wake up and I'm filled with positive energy, which keeps me going even if I lose... :D

I think late at night too is the best time. They also say that for land casinos too.

I think cat makes a great point "positive energy" i think really helps. If we go in thinking we are gonna lose it seems 9 times out of 10 we do!

I agree with wnanhee and Lips...I seem to do better late at night (after 10:00 pm) when everything has calmed down.  I can sit and relax with a glass of wine and my ciggs...and play!

Cat and Lips...I think you are also right about that positive energy...it works  ;)

I hit a $5000 spin in the morning.  But, I don't think any time is luckier than others.  It's all very random and HIGHLY stacked to the houses favor with online casinos.

True, doc. I also think the time of day doesn't have anything to do with the winning streak, as many of us live in different time zones. It only has to do with our mood to feel lucky and/or better overcome the losses.

All day O'clock two days ago was a good day to play in any tourney for me.  I prefer when everything is quiet at home then I can enjoy playing.

What's going on right now!
