Were You Nervous the First Time?
« on: May 02, 2011, 05:59:11 PM »
Hiya LCB'ers

Remembering back to the very first time i gambled online, it took some convincing from a friend before i would do it. Always loving to gamble and being a land based girl i was sooo afraid to make the first deposit.

A friend of mine tried to talk me into making a deposit for real money at Full Tilt Poker. At that time i played strictly for fun. My biggest fear was putting my banking info online.

After a couple weeks my friend transfered funds in my poker account to try it out. That's all it took! After winning a couple sit n goes i was ready for my very first deposit!

Were you nervous the first time or just jumped right in?

I started with Bingo and didn't jump in.  Dived in from a tall cliff yelling GUNG-HO!

I wasn't as nervous with the first deposit as I am now!

Oddly enough, I made some huge mistakes with my depositing and with my choices of places to deposit.

Between experience and LCB, I make better decisions.

Oh so did i Valkyrie! I didn't know you couldn't claim more then two chips in a row and actually made a deposit one of the most rogue casinos online! We really need to know what we are doing or we can step into the wrong casino.

I was fearless and was probably dumb not to think it out. I made my 1st deposit at 7 Sultans. The rest is history.

I was scared stiff to be totally honest.  My first deposit was on 888poker.  I sat there with all the info for a $30 deposit for ages and ages before I plucked up the courage to click the deposit button.

Made my first deposit at BetRoyal for $50 and a Blackjack bot three years ago.  Wasn't nervous, but rather confident I had a winning strategy in the bot.  Lost the $50 in 30 minutes!
---Then I became nervous.  :`o

great thread Lips ;)

I started playing ( bonus whoring ) some 4.5yrs ago . My first bet was placed at Gamebookers.com ( ended up losing $100 i believe ).

My second casino was William Hill where I made my very first profit. Was just $10,5 but I was very happy :D

And yes I was very nervous .

I remember how clueless but at the same time excited I was...
I signed up at River Belle casino (as seen on TV) with $25 no deposit and deposit $50 and get $200 free offer and I felt like I hit the jackpot.
I've had my share of both good and bad experiences...
I too have made some wrong choices of the places I played...
once, I made two $100 deposits and got charged for four times from one of casinos and there was a time I made a deposit but didn't get credited ...shamefully I ended up letting them have their ways.
..................................Lucky how I found LCB! :D

Talk about clueless. I had to be the king. My first deposit was at slots of vegas of all places. I hate to mention their name. Lucky for me I didn't win becasue i would've had a heart attack trying to get my money. Im so appreciative of sites likes this.

To be honest when I started gambling online I never knew about "no deposit" chips.

First deposit was at william hill. I remember playing "sheerluck holmes" and that tennis game... enjoyed em.

Played there for a while actually. Quite a few times profited until I lost too much on that site stupidly and realised truly what gambling is all about

I know how you feel marcus. What in the world is wrong with us that when we do win we give it right back or keep depositing almost to spite the casino! Only one i spite is myself cuz i am get on a losing streak and it seems no matter how much i deposited if its not my time its not my time.

I think I do it wayyy too much, like its a convenience thing. If im bored at home and have a withdraw pending I always found it too easy to reverse it :(

:(, hopefully that time will come for you soon enough and you will win something big :D
