I have been with Golden Casino for over a year. I would rate them as "good." Reasonable fair play and reasonable payout.
The first of September I received a payout check from them. I deposited it in my bank account. Today I recevied in the mail a notice from my bank the the check had been RETURNED. ("Retuned by payers bank.") I called them and, as you would image, the burden of proof to reconcile this is totally in my lap. I am having to scan bank statements, copy of the returned check, etc....and sending it to their support. Lord only knows how long that will take.
I told them I want payment immediately, plus a nice free chip for the hassle. If they don't comply I am going to cancel my membership.
I really thinking issuing bad checks is inexcusable.

OooOOOO!! Glad you posted on this. I'm only sticking with Go casino for now...Didn't really like Golden, but won't ever deposit with english harbor group.

My experience with English Harbor has been excellent. I actually got a wire transfer in 2 days this week with them! I will keep folks posted about Golden Casino reconciling their bad check. I scanned and emailed documents to them yesterday......no word yet!

It has been 24 hours. No return email from Golden Casino and NO luck getting them them on "Live Chat."
This is hugely disappointing.

After not hearing from Golden Casino, I called. They had NO notes on my account from Thursday. Nothing. I have to start from zero making my case that their check was no good*. I will keep you all informed. By the way, Online Vegas Casino is a sister site.
*Keep in mind, "making your case" includes getting them copies of your bank statements.

That is whats scary for an American player....it falls even more in your lap as a result. Not like we can call the authorities or the better business bureau. But with players posting and bringing awareness.......we learn to stay away.
I hope it gets rectified for you.

golden casino, online vegas , and go casino are all 3 sister casinos and are also owned by english harbour as well. good luck with any kind of compensation from golden casino. i had screenshots of megamoney mine paying me the wrong payout strait and blunt obvious and yet they told me just i was wrong and discontinued any further communication with me. it took me about 4 months in order to find someone in a high enough possition to assist me in getting my winnings owed to me and even then it was issued in casino credit and not just a check to me. like i said before good luck you will definatly need it!!!

Sorry about your mess but i must laugh about it hahaha .I posted along time ago about this exect problem.I never got it fixed and was outa luck trying to get my money.After bitching about it,i was banned from thier casinos.SO i went to Utube and made a really nasty video about them.Mine started with SuperSlots and they are owned by the same people.I don't know how big your check was,but mine was over 4,000 and when i dep it i went shopping and then received letter from my bank.I still owe the bank money and lost my account.This had ruined me and its been 3 years since it happened.You will see others post the same stuff in the days ahead.Go Casino is even worse.But untill you get your so called winnings,just remember i Told you so!!

Golden Casino is listed as Rouge at CM. I hope you get your money but probably not...I have read to many bad things about them and would never risk my money there.
