    basically it is regarding that $50 new virtual city bonus, basically i told my dad about it and my dad registered when he was at his house then came over to me and played it at my flat on my IP address and he was able to win £103.04 the withdraw was processed after 3 days then he went to support tonight and they told him to ring them so he did and they said that his account has been locked because he played it at my flat on my IP address, im sorry to say but this is really bad business, they are looking for any excuse not to pay, my dad met the wager and withdrew then went home.....

    then the next day i went to support and they said they would recreate my account for me so i could claim the bonus, so these was the 2 reasons they said my dads was not allowed, so they recreated my account so that they could use this as an excuse not to pay my dads withdraw which is (ROGUE TACTICS) really bad tactics,

    so this is a warning to avoid this casino group and please try not to deposit in this casino and play at any other address other than your own and on your own IP addresses because this is bad, all other microgaming casinos dont have this rule about IP addresses even though my dad registered his account on his ip address not mine then he just played the money on my ip address when he came round to my flat, im seriously shocked, and im not the only people this has affected, if you type virtual city casino risk management in google the first link that shows is a forum with people warning similar tactics....

    when i spoke to ben in risk management team, when i phoned them i asked why they locked my dads account and not mine, he couldnt answer, he was just avoiding my questions and kept saying this conversation isnt getting anywhere then when he did answer he said (do you want me to lock your account) so this just tells me they locked my dads cos his had that £103.04 withdraw, that is why, this is really bad then my dad said they said to him you can still open other accounts at other casinos in our group and deposit in them if u like, what bad tactics is this, my dad is furious, cos my dad phoned them before i did you see....

    if anyone can help i would sure appreciate it

  • This is a standard rule with all online casinos, and has been for as long as I've been gambling online (12 yrs)..

    If you guys had cleared this before he played at your house, it most likely would have been ok.

  • lhasalover thanks for reply, but my dad did ladbrokes on my ip address too and his was ok and he withdrew ok there.....

    so im sorry to say but i dont think this is a rule that all casinos use, just the casinos that want to use any means posible to not pay people there money

  • Casino Rewards is a stand up group, and has ALWAYS been a stand up group.

    Ladbroke's may be an exception to the rule for several reasons; you should start checking the rules for all the casinos you play at.

  • but why did they lock my dads account then and not mine, this is obvious tactics, my dad did nothing wrong and niether did i, but yet just because my dad came and played it at my address his got locked, his got locked only because he won and had £103.04 in his account, that is why they didnt lock my account (the evidence is staring right in the face, they are cheating and lying)

    another example, go wild do not have that rule too with IP addresses, my friend has played and deposited in go wild when he was in my flat and then i deposited too that same day i watched him and he watched me and we both won that day and he withdrew fine and i canceled my withdraw that time, so just trying to show you that this tactic is totally out of order by casino reward groups

  • i just looked at the terms and conditions and WOW, some are really shocking

    All customer offers are limited to one per person, family, household address, email address, telephone number, debit/credit card and shared computer, eg. school, public library or workplace. We reserve the right to withdraw the availability of any offer or all offers to any Player or group of Players.
    (so basically this says, only 1 per family regardless if u live at different addresses - they are losing business this way what can i say)

    Players who win a sum that is 5 times or more greater than their total purchases across all Casino Rewards partner casinos will only be able to withdraw their winnings at a sum of $4,000 a week. All progressive wins/payouts are exempt from this clause.

    (this one is very bad, there should not be any limit what so ever on withdrawing any amount)

       If after 90 days the Player's Casino account shows no activity, it will be considered dormant.
       In this eventuality, on the first of every subsequent month, a dormancy fee of US$2 (or currency equivalent) will be levied should there be an account balance. This charge will remain in place until the account becomes active again and no longer dormant or if the account balance reaches zero.
       Should an account remain dormant or inactive with no account transactions for a period exceeding 30 months and where the account also has a balance, Virtual City Casino shall attempt to contact the account holder with a view to return any remaining funds. Should this not be possible, then the remaining balance within that account will be removed.

    and this is odd, a fee for not playing if u have a balance, why would people leave a balance and then not play for 3 months is beyond me anyway, wow amazing these are common rogue rules

    and no where in the terms it says anything about ip addresses, so it is obvious it is the family reason that they have done this, im totally disgusted and my dad is totally furious too

    Sorry to hear this happened to your dad but it is this way everywhere. You can not have more than one account registered under one IP address. This is an online casino first golden rule and unless you are a newbie everyone knows this.

    Take a minute and think about this from the casino's perspective. There is so much player abuse to try and cashout  under multiple accounts they have no choice but to do this. If the rule was not implemented we would have 100 acounts and take advantage of the no deposit chips and welcome deposit bonuses.

    I know it is frustrating and in your case you may have not thought about this when your dad registered. We all been through it at one time or another and we all learn the hard way. Never ever have more than one account under an IP address if you intend on cashing out.

    thanks for reply, but can you answer why go wild and ladbrokes was ok, when my dad and friend played at my flat with those ones and they withdrew fine...

  • No i can't answer that question but i bet ya they don't allow more than one account either to an IP. It either slipped through the cracks or the computer was tagged and not the IP.

    But knowing how these casinos operate it is not worth the risk.

  • yes, he played on my computer but registered at his OWN house then came to my flat and played it, but the next day i went to support and they said they would recreate my account for me so i could claim it,

    why on earth would they allow this,

    and support just said they was all wrong for recreating accounts for players, (this SHOULD NOT have happened) so hence why they using this as an excuse now too, so its not the actual ip, but 2 reasons they are now using, the fact my dad played on my computer and the fact i claimed it the day after, when they recreated my account, as i said previously in my posts above

    See, Lips, that's not a horse of a different color to me.  I could go register different accounts at my friends' houses all day long, then come home & play those new accounts on my own computer.  Very easily done, so it's too open to fraud.

    See, Lips, that's not a horse of a different color to me.  I could go register different accounts at my friends' houses all day long, then come home & play those new accounts on my own computer.  Very easily done, so it's too open to fraud.

    however i told my dad about this offer and he asked me to send him the link so i did, and he registered while he was on the phone to me,

    and if that comment is also true about you can create accounts very easily, in other names, it is well too hard and ask yourself this, would your friends allow you too, what if your friends decided they wanted too, you couldnt use theres then, and that would not be fair on your friends....

    my dad chose to do it himself it is completely different story, but i do understand what you was trying to say

  • Its really messed up all these rules i know u cant have 2 accounts from the same ip/adresse, but the thing is not everyone person in the world got permanent ip adress, so if u sign up fine and plays then few days later login again with a new ip your where assigned u get banned cause another person in your area already playd at the casino.

    Besides when you send them documents to prove your name/adress and such they can clearly see the ip´s shouldt be a problem.

  • When I was in the hospital for a while last year, I downloaded some of my casinos to my laptop so I could play while there.  I notified all the casinos first, and had no problems.  'Course, as I said earlier, I've been gambling online for 12 years, so a lot of them know me.

    But, I've also read of husbands & wives playing on separate accounts - they set it all up first with the casino so there wouldn't be any questions later.

    the latest news is this, before i went to bed i spoke to support again and they sent risk management team a long email with this thread and the chat manuscript explaining what has happened and that ben who i spoke to on the phone was incompetent so im now just waiting to get an email back from them, i will keep this thread updated as to what happens.....

    i got an email back from them, and guess who it was from, ben who i spoke to on the phone, typical isnt it, so not even a manager emailed me, which is what i asked for in the email, im totally disgusted about this for my dads sake, but it seems its over, and they have said there decission is final, i will not be bothering with these casinos in this casino rewards group ever again.

  • I too have learnt from such an experience and have since taken all the care and precautions necessary whenever playing at online casinos. It can really be a pain in the you-know-where with all the imposed restrictions, but wanting to play means conforming and compliance with the casino's t&c! sad Some are still lucky to get away with it...but may get caught out sooner or later. So it's better off to stay clear right from the start! wink

    Yes this is true, i am very loyal with 32red casino now,

    and we do get rewarded for our loyalty. but then some casinos might use this against us if we always asked for a goodwill if we wasnt having any luck, take for example skyvegas, i asked them about 3 times via live support over 12 month period and guess what they did, they banned me from live support, so now i have to phone them if i need to contact them...

    i mean 3 times in 12 months, lmao come on how is this even fair or right... but some casinos just have really really bad or strict rules, that some just dont seem logical or fair to the players, but how can we fight such a huge company like sky, we cant, we have no leg to stand on

    its funny, and it angers me that a lot of online casinos can and do get away with having such bad rules and terms and conditions and they get away with it

    i really hope one day the uk government started to regulate online casinos for us, so then all the casinos that dont abide by the rules set would not be operating in the uk anymore, i think this would be better than the open way it is at the moment and the way they just have full reign over us in the uk
