What is the best Vegas casino for slot play? Anyone have any ideas? I have been a couple of times and will be going again in September. I usually play downtown Freemont St. cause I have better luck.

El Cortez downtown.. its not a big one, but it does pay well

Sams Town is good, Station Casinos are okay.. i always lose alot
but i have a good time, i'm able to play.. just not win

On the Strip.. Harrahs is nice, and the little casinos around it,
the casinos near tropicana and the las vegas strip are good..
like Luxor

Thanks Imagin.ation I'll have to make a note of those casinos. I have heard from others that Sams town is a good place.

The 2nd week in Sept. I wanted to go in August but I'm awaiting the birth of my grandson and I don't want to be too far away when the time comes. I got married there the last week of August and wanted to celebrate my anniversary there, but as long as I get to go I'm happy.

I must say though... the best time you will have
is on the strip, lots of things to do, plenty of clubs, casinos
and shows
Venetian is a good site, with the scenery and the Gondaliers
very beaufitul

Also it is VERY HOT here lately we've been having temps in the 110's
and its DRY heat, the sun burns very easily

When I was there 5 years ago it was the last week of august and I know on one day it was 110. Didn't bother me I was in the air conditioned casinos most of the time. I love the strip I just prefer to stay away from the hustle bustle of the crowds so we go to the strip in the daytime and freemont street at night late. I'm thinking this year I will check out sam's town a friend of mine stayed there and really liked it. She won 1200.00 on a nickel machine her 3rd spin.
