yep i think 99% of slots when you get features have this potential Sommi to pay nothing lol.
But there is some exceptions, like for example a slot called Diamond Queen, from IGT, that slot basically guarantees a win because you get 3 spins, and you get wild reel added each spin, so it basically guarantees a win

Rena35 that would just fill my computer up if I saved every "almost" lol that is mostly what I get. It is a nice thought though at least everyone will see that they are not alone in the ALMOST category. That's funny and sad at the same time. It especially hurts when you place a big bet and the anticipation riles you up cause you just KNOW this is going to be a good one and BOOM total let down. So no, I wont be doing that, I'd rather forget lol

This whole topic makes me laugh! I realize that when you see a screen that is a "near-win" you say to yourself -- "if only it spun a bit more" --- when the spinning of the reels is inconsequential to the outcome of your "spin" which is actually determined the split second you click the "spin" button.
The RNG (Random Number Generator) is stopped at that moment and whatever number comes up on it corresponds to a specific spin result.
Sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but if you let the psychology of how they design the games get into your head it will generally cause you to play more than you wanted to in the first place. -

I agree with what you said.
But i think a lot of gamblers know how slots work nowadays with the RNG (Random Number Generator), but i think the purpose of this thread was just for posting those screenshots that people take sometimes for the whole purpose of hoping that they wish they was better than it was, there has been proven articles that state that slots have programmed in to them the *near miss*, and that is the same in land based and online casino slots.
It is getting more and more out of control though, as many more *near misses* happen far too often. and its just a way slot manufactures get players to deposit that one more time.
Although near misses i hate when i get them (which i can say must have happened about 10,000 or more times over the years i played slots online and in the local arcades, the RNG's are just programmed and *certified* in such a way that they get passed as they are fine and acceptable.
but i don't see a problem with a thread for these types of screenshots. It is just here for a purpose after all, to let people vent and rant a bit of what could have been. -

Koi princess is by far the worse slot from netent this year.. Sucks your balance dry and has no real potential to bring mega big wins..
I think Koi Princess is their second worst slot for this year, the pyramid slot quest for immortality is their worst by far this year, if not the worst slot they ever released. -

I couldn't agree more. that pyramid slot is one of biggest crap I've ever seen. Like 5-6k spins with no winnings bigger than bet x 30, spins take forever and you can't make it any faster and it's hell borring.. -

Thanks so much for your response. The thing is that "near-misses" have been outlawed in most major gambling jurisdictions -- but for sure they are still going strong in some of the online ones. Since this is has been a proven problem I find it irresponsible for this forum to actually promote the occurrence.
To me, the only "bad spin" outcome is a bonus round which results in almost zero winnings -- those, for sure, are frustrating and commiserating about them is definitely appropriate. But lets stop posting near-miss spins as I believe it only makes matters worse.
