  • I am not going to say what casino I was playing at for over 6 hrs due to I have a pending cashout, but I will probably post after I receive the money.

This is a VERY REPUTABLE CASINOs  I was playing the Progressives for hrs kept winning and you know how when you are playing and all the sudden it starts going faster, then stops. Well I don't pay too much attention to that but since I kept winning I was thinking WOW I could be a MILLIONAIRE then I started to notice that it was RIGGED. The counter went from $1,629,890.00 and instead of noticing my spins I INTENTLY watched the counter and the numbers spin fast and then stop but I noticed once that it went to $1,629,999 I was expecting it to turn to $1,630,000 as it should have. So I logged out and back in to see if the counter would do the same thing it did EXACTLY the same. It went back to ticking $1,629,890 again after it had already ticked past those same numbers $1,629,890 it did the same thing again to $1,629,899 and then the numbers changed to $1,629,890 and started counting from there all over again. Has any other member had this happen and yes when you are playing progressives it is a $5 spin so you don't notice the counter but take the time to notice it and you will see what I mean.  shocked
  • Thats very worrying.

I can't say that I have noticed this when playing progressives but then I rarely play them.

I shall wait until you reveal all.

    blue

  • yes possibly very worrying, i do know some progressives that pay only the full jackpot, when the symbols appear on a certain line with max bet.
and if you get the symbols in that line , with the min bet, you are paid a percentage of the total jackpot, couldnt have been something like this?

  • No I am not talking about paylines. I am specifically talking about the counter WATCH IT CAREFULLY. Now most ppl are watching the spin of course and if you win after all it's a $5 spin you are watching your balance and the screen, not paying close attention to the PROGRESSIVE COUNTER and the numbers at the top especially if they are ticking fast. It did it to me at least 7 times, but keep in mind I kept hitting the bonus rounds so I had the bankroll to keep spinning and watching the counter. My heart sank and then I was MAD I was always taught to believe Random Number Generators are Random.

  • Also keep in mind there is no MAX bet when playing Progressives only one bet $5 and that is it.

  • Well I did it again today and sure enough I was playing at a different RTG Cleopatras Jackpot Gold and it did the same thing. But wait, this time I recorded it and yes I do have the evidence it seems to be on all the RTG's. I will tell you now where I was playing yesterday at Manhattans yes I know, it's like saying Yes Virginia there is no Santa Claus, one of my favorites. Today I was playing at iNetBet, and yes I know again, I play there everyday. But sure enough it happened. So now that I have the recording of it I just want players to be aware, watch the Progressive counter it is not fair. Anyone can go into Inetbet now, and if you play Jackpot Cleopatras Gold deposit and spin one time, the counter will speed up and watch it. It will go from $288,382.and the decimals click fast it went from $288,389 back to $288,369 it is true and it sucks.

  • I am not even sure that the casinos themselves are aware of it, I would imagine they would say it is the software. But I am not sure how all that works but is still does not seem correct to spin the wrong numbers. I can say that it does not effect the spins from what I can tell I was hitting bonus round after bonus round. But the counter was not ticking correctly and going back thru the same numbers it had already ticked thru. Still waiting to see if anyone else experienced this or even noticed.
  • Yes, and it is not just on progressives, I was playing at iNetBet today and it happened on a regular real series slot. It was going up really fast and then I looked up at it agian and it had dropped back down to where it started from. This happened 2 different times today on 2 different slots at iNetBet shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

  • Yes you ladies are definitely right about this. (It's very suspicious)

I have been noticing this for a long time (especially at iNetBet- where I play the most).

I know that progressive slots are set to the lowest RTP% allowed by RTG.

You are basically playing to hit the jackpot- because they will eventually just eat up your bankroll in the long run.

But according to the records here at LCB, Cleo's Gold Jackpot hasn't been hit in 24 weeks and now is at its at its highest peak.

Cleo's Jackpot and Jackpot Pinatas are going to hit any day now

At least that is what Club World Casinos keeps telling me in their emails laugh_out_loud.

I guess thats why they call this gamblin.

    GOOD LUCK

  • I have read that other ppl have also noticed this lately and one woman was so frustrated that she thought she was nuts or seeing things or her math was wrong. Then i thought well how could you prove it? I looked at my phone and it has a video recorder on it tee hee. So I recorded it and now I just cant figure out how to show anyone other than handing them my phone. laugh_out_loud But in all seriousness I would never think a casino would payout a Million? And if it keeps ticking number $1,690,899 and then goes right back to $1,690,800 how is it ever going to go off and at what ticker. And who is doing this and why? da dum da dum da dum da dum cool

  • Stupid question do you think the casinos are aware of this and wait before someone tells them and they say duh? I want someone more tech savy then me to record it and post somehow. And you do not have to have a big bankroll to see it, just play any Progressive i was playing Jackpot pinatas and I did keep hitting the bonus rounds and winnings hundreds, but that is a $5 spin you can spin one time and it starts spinning fast just stop and watch it you dont nd to spin at all. It will go from $1,699,999.99 back to $1,688,999.99 now I am not a math wizard but it is the first time I saw a counter count BACKWARDS?!@#$%^ shocked
  • No lucky8s- your eyes weren't playing tricks on you.

I've seen the same thing happen on the same slot (pinatas) many, many times.

I usually got nice hits too- so it really didn't bother me all that much cheesy.

But I am quite sure that the casinos are aware of this.

Just imagine how many highrollers play this slot everyday. I'm sure the casinos have heard these complaints before.

My question would be- how high should the jackpot really be????

  • Now that's a great point, my concern is how do they get it to count backwards? And who does it the casino or the RTG software? I just wish someone besides me knew how to post it and record it. Cause i know some will say geeze it's nothing it just means that someone won the jackpot whil playing and it reset. I call BS that is not what i am talking about here it goes from $1,600,999.99 and counts backwards $1,600,899.99.

  • Anyone wishing to see the recording PM me with your e-mail and I will send it to you. You have to have Quicktime 6.5 Media Player or higher on your computer to view it. Only 30 secs very short. You can download Quicktime for free.
  • There is a recording software online but I cannot remember the name of it.  I'll see if I can find it.  All those people on youtube recording their poker games must use it and it can be used on any app I would think.

    blue

  • I noticed this too, but when you emial support about it they give the answer "There is nothing wrong with the slot".

Atleast that is what I got.
    LH

  • I have noticed where the numbers will go really fast and then slow down or even stop. I always took it as a malfunction in the counter. But never have i seen the numbers move backwards. I will pay better attention now.

It would be nice if we could some answers on the mechanisms of exactly what rate these numbers should be turning over.

    Lips

  • Frankly I don't care if the numbers move fast or slow but I was Mad when I RECORDED THEM going from $288,831 to $288,679 Come on Now, Seriously. Really? Now of course some one will come on here and say well the Jackpot was won, so it reset. Nope not what I recorded. Or I have even heard it was a glitch Nope not when it is in various RTG's.  Keep in mind that every person playing the game and spinning that money goes into that Jackpot you see spinning, that is EVERY players money. So for the counter to go from $288,831 back down to $288,679 you do the math how much money did that casino just get to keep, and no one knows the better. The numbers are moving faster when more players are playing, I was told.  shocked
  • I tried to look up some info on the digital read out of a progressive slot and how it is calculated.

What i found is that the read out of the jackpot total is determined by how much is being wagered. Therefore that is the reason why sometimes it goes at a faster rate than at other times. Depending on how many players are playing at a given moment and how much is being wagered.

One thing i did not realize with random jackpots until i was lucky enough to win, is that the random jackpot is tied into several slots. I know for sure at land based casinos if the entire amount is not wagered and someone hits the progressive there is a small payout that will reduce the jackpot total.

The RNG is completely separate from the random jackpot amount. Random jackpots and progressive totals are calculated purely by the amounts being wagered. I am wondering if there is a lot of big payouts if the jackpot total teeters to recalculate?

    Lips
  • Lips ONLY at the CLUB WORLD group of casinos, where you and I won our Randoms, are the Random jackpots tied together. iNetBet, Slots Madness, Win, Casino33 and ALL the other RTG casinos the Randoms are not linked?  As a matter of fact that $22,000 Random Jackpot was just hit at Aladdins tonite?  I have NOT noticed the numbers counting backwards on the Randoms, only on the PROGRESSIVES where it is more money at stake. Are we talking the same thing?

  • Lucky,

Well its enough to drive me crazy to figure it out!! I wondering if the random jackpots too count backwards and maybe we never noticed it. I would think that random jackpots and progressive jackpots should operate in the same manner in the way they are calculated.

It blows my mind that this happened!!! Especially on progressives given the higher stakes being played here. The sad thing is when brought to the casinos attention they will either deny it or lock your account! If that is the case then right there proves something is not on the up and up.

After your withdrawal goes through lucky i would try to speak to someone higher in the chain and ask for a reasonable explanation as to why this happened. You said the key word......"reputable" if they are, then some answers are owed.

    Lips

  • I don't think that a casino would lock an acct for questioning and I would hope not. Honestly I know for a fact that I am NOT the first and will not be the last. Public opinion really ppl do not care. Unless you are a FATCAT with a BIG bankroll and you happen to be lucky enough to win the Million PROGRESSIVE and while you were spinning you noticed it counting backwards, but even then you are happy cause you won. Many players have asked and they ALL get the BLAND GENERIC answer "I'll have our tech guys look into it, or there is nothing wrong it seems to be fine. Seriously no casino would say OK Got me we were trying to see if anyone would notice, ok well be good now. There is NO way it will ever be fixed cause if it was FATCATS with bankroll would be Millionaires at a much faster rate, and there would be no casinos to play at, they would have to close. It DOES NOT EFFECT THE GAME PLAY whatsoever if anything I was winning hundreds a spin yes hundreds. But as I started the thread saying when it was going fast I did think for a half a second i am winning almost every spin and getting hundred WOW and look at that Progressive counter "I AM GOING TO BE A MILLIONAIRE...........Not. Especially when it was spinning backwards going over the same numbers it just spun right thru again and again and again. It makes sense why the RTG software or the casinos would do it Money Money Money bottom line. It just made me MAD cause I believed in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny and that the Progressive counter in RTG's was random and cannot be tampered with. If I loose a tooth tonite I will put that under my pillow, I'll tell ya tomorrow if the tooth fairy came. Goodnite kiss
  • Hi Everyone,
Just read this post and though I would give you some information. We asked RTG about this issue when a player pointed it out some time ago and here is the reply from the programmer:

"The actual value of the progressive is not increasing just because the meter is spinning. The meter is an approximation of the amount in the jackpot. This is the industry practice that is used in all meters in Las Vegas. As with those, we 'spin' the meter to entice play, and to make it clear that the value is not set, but increases with play.

Again, this is industry practice, recognized over time as the best way to do things. The meter resets to the current value whenever the player leaves and comes back to the machine."

I hope that this information clears things up for anyone with concerns. Please be assure that when a jackpot hits then the full amount is paid out that has accumulated. If you see a counter resetting it is not deducting funds it is simply correcting itself to the real value of the jackpot.

    Best Regards
    iNetBet Promos

  • Thanks for the explanation.

It's a very strange practice that's for sure.  I'm not sure it has the desired effect though - it just makes people suspicious.

  • Hi iNetbet,

Thanks for your time to clear this up. As i said only a reputable casino would take the time to explain!!

It makes sense that the meter is consistently moving being it is a progressive machine. Seems it gets ahead of itself and has to recalculate. The brain of the slot and considering the RNG technology and the mechanisms that are programmed are a marvel in modern computerization. The accuracy and precision to ensure that these slots are set to not go haywire and is a near perfect technology. Understandably so, we are talking a great potential of money at stake for the casino if it did malfunction.

I do wonder why the meter is not as fine tuned as the slot in the programming process to give an accurate read out. I can understand why it would speed up and even slow down in depending on play.

In today's market i would think that a program could be implemented with more accuracy on a read out. The same time, devotion and prevention of a malfunction that the slot has.

The meter is tied into all the slots that are being fed. Calculating these "fed" slots to the meter seem like a far more easy program process than the program to prevent slot malfunction.

I do appreciate the time given here to respond to members and their concerns. It says alot for iNetbet in answering these questions.

    Thanks,
    Lips

  • That's good to know Inetbet thanks for the explanation.

  • Good to know, just did not like seeing the numbers count BACKWARDS. By the way, added to that Jackpot depositing yesterday $1,400 yep, not a hit?  Boy am I unlucky. >:( shocked

  • Before anyone thinks I am a Whale of a player, I am a guppie. This was one of the things on my bucket list, I also read yesterday the story of the man who sold evrything went to vegas and bet like $136,000 on roulette video is on youtube. He bet Red I am not going to tell you the outcome you will have to see it. Since it was not my money in the first place I only dep $50 manhattans and won $2,000. So I thought what would it feel like to dep $100s at a time and spin jackpot pinadas, well was playing at iNetBet and it did not hit bonus round once $5 spin, so yes it was fun doing it feeling it one time to dep $100's but I'll NEVER do it again!!!! I realized whether you dep big or small the chances are still the same. I actually win more on the 20 and 40 cents spins than on the $1 or more.

  • I wanted to also Thank iNetbet I regard them as trustworthy and honest with outstanding customer service. I noticed the counting BACKWARDS Progressives in Manhattans first, then next day I noticed it at iNetBet. But I also noticed it in ALL RTG's and I want to be clear IT IS NOT the resetting or starting to spin fast and stop. I am not making this up and thruout the yrs, yes yrs I know others who have seen it. You can notice it yourself if you play today, I do not feel like anyone is picking on me personally. It will do it to anyone, while it is spinning fast it will AND DOES count backwards and it you sit bacl and watch it dont spin you will see what I mean it is counting thru first in sequnce then it will go backwards. So I am glad that iNetBet did not come forward with EXCUSES or the "SAY IT ISN'T SO" they took the bullet for all RTG's. You have to RESPECT that, I do. But I not once every complained to iNetBet or Manhattan's or any RTG for that matter. I needed to see first if I was crazy and seeing things, and then see why, what, who, when and where. I am glad the MYSTERY is solved and give much THANKS to iNetBet, they have always been a class act, and they are only one RTG casino in the big ocean, so to be the one, to come forward with NO EXCUSES is CLASS in my book. I also do not blame them for my BAD run, it was my bucket list. wink
  • I am glad you had fun Lucky8s, just wish you would have hit something! I hear ya on the bucket list, after I watched the movie I thought of doing one myself, but then I realized, I have already done everything I wanted to do in life. The only things I haven't done, I have to wait for my daughter to get older. But I can tell ya, with her attitude lately she may not make it to getting older!!! laugh_out_loud

    LH

  • Awwwh, I know exactly what you mean. I have a 27 yr old college graduate son, he owns his own company now, so proud of him. Proud single Mom for 27 yrs. But I tell ya his life does not move fast enough for me. I turn 50 this June, and I do not understand this Generation X they get married at 30yrs or older, actually his girlfriend he met at one of his fraternity parties I love, so sweet is now going for her Masters in Psychology and my wait is now another 2 yrs or even longer. So some things on my bucket list are of no control of mine.  wink
