  • I have a question.  I have seen similar discussions elsewhere but don't recall the information provided as I was never on the receiving end.

Can a casino you chose to complain about, with valid reason, blacklist you with other casinos?
I spoke negatively about a casino group and lo and behold when I logged into a different casino, I couldn't.  I emailed them and got an almost instant reply saying "You are now on a negative database and can no longer play at our casino'.

I didn't press the issue.  Wanted to sleep on what to ask/say.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

  • Without any actual real enforceable body governing these blacklist or the your banned processes.  Yeah pretty much, there's not much we in the US can do once were put on a negative database.
Really any casino that's offering us here in the US a chance to play with them are pretty much in a licensing body that doesn't really care much about the players.  As long as they receive there monies or business license fee.  They could really care less about us.  Hence why US players are allowed.
Any good decent licensing body would really probably tell the licensed casino from the beginning it's not good business practice to deal with people in the US, because of the all the hoops they have to jump through.
I know there's been great lengthy discussions on who holds this database.  Is it something internal by the casino, by the processor, or is there some black hat company that holds this database?  If it's a black hat company, why can't we at least see our file and who reported the information.  To at least dispute it.
So to restate, pretty much any casino that allows US players pretty much has a US player or any player who plays there at there mercy.  Heck even a few casinos I play at, they even have it in there T&C's if you talk badly about them in a public forum.  They have to the right to suspend or ban your account.  That right there is pretty much an FU clause.

  • Oh wow this is a new revelation for me. I didn't think complaining about a particular Casino would place you on a blacklist. Was the casino you tried to log into the same software as the casino group you complained about?

Yes.  It was the same software.  Interesting.
  • Name and shame gabby !

  • Ah just read your other topic , so this must be the Genesys group right ?

  • I know Slotocash and Up Town Aces has a clause, that if you try to defame them.  They reserve the right to publicize your e-mails and personal information to defend themselves.  Then also to close your account for trying to discredit them in any way.
I don't like the clause but then again, honestly other than payment delays I guess I can't really complain about them.

I can understand the email part but to publicize your personal info seems wrong.
  • Here in the UK upcoming regulation is imminent that will block off our access to a whole host of GOOD online casinos, and yet the rogue ones will no doubt continue to offer their services here, so there is no easy solution to this problem I think sad
