  • A disaster !  Netspend not allowing internet gambling !  What are the US gamblers going to use?  Help, help, help.  Any info on how to deposit now huh?

  • you can no longer use mastercard netspend, but if you have a visa netspend, then it still works

  • Got an email message from "visa netspend" that I no longer can use for internet gambling  shocked  Do you use any other methods of depositing that are accepted from US citizens?

  • Netspend is stopping ALL online gambling transactions. I am not sure about WiredPlastic. I usually use my WiredPlastic. QT also is working. The BIG question is HOW ARE WE GOING TO CASHOUT?!?

    :-*

  • I had such a hard time with my bank-fraud department for over 45 minutes to unlock my debt card which they blocked it after two QT transactions. You have no idea how I felt the whole time on the phone with them...I felt like if I was a criminal or something.
I got my card working again but I tell ya this much, NO more online gambling for me... :'( :'( :'(

Okay, back to the question.  No more Net Spend either Visa or Master card, period. If someone was able to use it somehow but be prepare if they find out...
There is still QT and Ewallet express but like mommy said, how are we going to cash out if we win?
The only option would be, money gram or western union...since paid by check won't be a good idea at this point either.

  • I think we still can use visa netspend to deposit to quicktender and when we want to withdraw from quicktender, we will use our bank account to withdraw to

  • but the Bank might question where the money is coming from now that they are going to crack down on the financial institutions allowing ANY kind of transaction that has anything to do with online gaming. Im very very sad.

    :-*

  • My bank started on me almost a year ago with depositing into my account.  Kept emailing me warnings, even on a PayPal deposit when I sold my broken i-phone for $100.  Why don't the casinos or quicktender, etc... send us some prepaid gift cards for cashouts?  Sounds too simple-must be a catch there somewhere, but I can't see it.  They can buy them without any check on who is buying and we should be able to use them without a check on ID as well.  Just temporary until USA gives us out financial freedoms back.

  • From Qt to your bank
it will be transfer as international transaction...that's where the problem begins...
And yes, you can still fund the money from NS to QT but that's not the point right now the way I see it...How are you going to get paid?
If you get paid by QT to your bank,it will show as, International wire transfer-Dubai...well, every bank now have to ask where the money is from and what for especially if it is from different countries, they want to make sure this money is clean!!!
And what's more, bank may not even give you any warring, they will just block or cancel your debt cards.

  • I never used qt (presuming you mean "quick tender"). Any cashouts I received were by a wire transfer from a New York bank to my bank account.  Never had a question by my bank as to why I had a wire transfer from a NY bank.

  • you guys make me worried now, I still have some fund in quicktender account, what to do what to do

  • Taaa...I didn't mean to make you worried and sorry about that. I was just cautioning people what the banks might do...and I  for one was really scared when I had to deal with my bank for what? I was so tempted to scream at them that it's my freaking money and I will do whatever I want to with my money...but now I thought about it again,
This is what I think what will happen, when the times passes like about few months, everything will be alright with MG which they are just settling down for US and working very hard to make things better for us...(Duh, they want Our money and I am sure we,US players have been one of their great success-)even more payment options, new games will introduced, even Net Spend will come back... This is the hardest time for us but we all love what we do and we shouldn't give up...we have to be patient which is a virtue grin...Everything will be alright...
  • I on the other hand believe more and more casinos will stop accepting USA players. Although we are a big money maker for the casinos, many banks will not process our deposits for them for fear they will be punished, and once it gets really hard to give them our money they will probably figure it is easier to just drop us all together.

    :-*

  • I am not really sure about wire transfers to your checking accounts from QT because all mine came from the Bank of Ireland. I never had a problem, I am waiting on a cash out for over 1,000 USD from Pure Vegas, it is going to my QT account. I am going to try and withdraw it to my bank account, I will let everyone know how it goes.

I think if QT saw a problem with drawing they would have sent out an e-mail or something, ,maybe I should send them an e-mail and ask, I might just do that tomorrow. I will let everyone know what they say.

  • I have a wire transfer in progress right now to a card.. i am not saying which one just yet, direct from a casino.  I haven't gotten any calls or emails, and the card is still active.  I will let everyone know how it goes when the transfer is complete- or not.

LH...just for the record, I too have been using QT as my withdrawals all the time and had no problem in the past except last two weeks. What's more I even used my bank cards to deposit money into casinos and never had any problems...until this whole thing with UIEGA what so ever...until  my bank started to questioned me about transactions even from Paypal which I used it  to buying some of  hundred  items in the last three weeks, most of my items are from Hong Kong...Dubai-QT, all other lists of transactions from casinos even thought none of casinos transactions showed as gambling if you know what I mean.
Anyway, I wish you a good luck and hope you will have your money without any problem and please do let us know how it went. wink
  • i recieved an email today saying they know ive been using my card to fund internet gambling (so what)

Thanks toodle, please let us know how it went...can not wait.
Congrats on your win and I am so happy for ya! smiley
  • I am one that believes the casinos will figure something out.  Guess we'll have to just wait.  I do have $ sitting in a casino that sends checks from a Canadian Bank, and now I'm scared to request the $.  Does anyone here receive checks from a Canadian Bank, and, if so, have you tried to deposit them?

I just received a check from a Canadian bank last week (probably from the same casino, does it start with a B? smiley). The check cleared in 24 hrs (just like every one I received from this casino). But that was before June 1st. Good luck.
  • Whitespade  -  Yep - a "B" casino.  I hope you get a big hit - then let us know if your bank cashed the canadian check.  I think I'll let my $ sit there for a while until I hear if anyone had any trouble cashing their Canadian Bank check.  Thanks for your input.

  • Hey slotsRme-

Their checks actually look like paychecks. The teller at my bank even asked me if I wanted to set up direct deposit. That bank is actually located in the states. I doubt that you would have any problems (at least- I hope not). Good luck.

yup.  This way seems to be the easiest to me.  The only difference is..... $50.00 is the min amount to deposit to your QT account.

  • you guys make me worried now, I still have some fund in quicktender account, what to do what to do
TAADAA- Send it to me! Just kidding. If it's a sizable amount start bringing it home. Just leave enough to carry you through your normal activity. Maybe we can break off nto teams and get some strategy going. But first I'm going to take a nap. The weekends lately are long and boring.  I don't want the best thing since sliced bread to die. Have to keep up the spirit....somehow
  • Y'know I think the first thing we shouldn't do is panic. And second, be more selective with the words I express

  • I am glad to see more casinos accepting QT(usemywallet), but I've never tried to withdraw from there.  Last year my bank started spamming me with we suspect you've been gambling online emails.  Said they would have to cancel my account if I persisted with deposits or withdrawals from there.  I use USAA, so I am fairly sure that now that the deadline has hit, they would make good on their threat.  What I hope to do when I can cashout anywhere is ask for a check if possible, and go cash it at Wal-Mart.  They cashed one of mine before and if asked, I had planned on telling them it was a paycheck.  Second backup I sold some art to a company in another country.  I wonder if the Chat hosts at Bingo sites have problems cashing their paychecks from online gambling sites?

  • I received a payout by check from Canada and had a rather difficult time cashing it...Walmart wouldn't even cash it. My bank put a hold and sent it off for clearing. It took almost a month but I did eventually receive the funds ( minus fees for exchange rates)

  • Most banks do have a special hold on out of country checks, as they for some reason take a long time to clear.  My canadian cashout check only took about 4 days.  I thought with NAFTA there wouldn't be a problem, but things that make sense aren't always the things that happen in the US.

i agree because sometimes i might not want to deposit 50
  • Hi all LCB'ers exclamation! For the First time in my 1-yr. Anniverssary playing online I've Finally been able to Cash Out exclamation!!  And this was from a Free Chip for my birthday this month exclamation!!  My money is sitting in the 'cashier's cage'.....lmLCBbo.....while I wait for printer ink to send in Authorization Docs....so I'm feeling pretty positive regarding taking a Wire Transfer. Prior to winning, my bank actually put a hold on my Visa Debit card when they saw 'storengo', 'Dubai', & 'pitpay'......SO SIMPLE.......All I needed to do is assure the bank of my last transactions (I keep a Log of all casinos that I play at along with Bonus Codes used, DEPOSITS....and I make PrintScreens to be stored on a thumb drive, dates, etc.)...I was prepared to know of the last 3 transactions which became questionable by my bank. QuickTender won't show up as Dubai when wiring money 'out' FROM QT to YOUR bank, correct huh ......only Dubai will show up in QT when a particular casino uses that 'label' for "their" transactions.... QT is only the "middleman" so we are able to transact Wires successfully to our banks without certain huh's arising. Many, many QT customers only use QT for online billpay, or to Wire $ to an individual.....& IMHO (In My Humble Opinion), NetSpend is going to, what?.....pay your bills online through QT?  Plz read QT's T&C.....it's on their site somewhere....informing you that YOUR transactions with QT are 'Confidential'  smiley

  • i use a prepaid card called upside they are great!!!! go to upside.com and get one

  • Hello all, again smiley

Regarding your NetSpend deposits to QuickTender:

The deposit minimum which I see in my QT account is $40.00.  Then, of course, QT charges a percentage of the amount you'll be depositing.

I must say it's incredibly kind of QT to lower their Deposit Minimum. I'm just hoping the $40 minimum applies to "NetSpenders". I haven't been using my NS for quite a while. I'm upset with them cutting us off from....'you know what'; and also I don't care for all the stinkin charges incurred with depositing to the card....I'm sure they realized they would lose significant business on a daily basis!  My business goes elsewhere.

Please, everyone, don't fret yourselves over NetSpend. With all of us here helping, I'm positive we'll soon learn of many new options, like Thea33r's post just above mine here

  • Okay all......the site thea33r reccommended is actually upsidecard, (you know.... .com)

    I'm off to research smiley

    Have a Super Day all!!

  • well even though its expensive ive been trying to deposit at casinos that use wu or mg as withdrawl methods gringl guys
