You have to be kidding.  OMG.

Gonna check this out.  That may explain why Grand Mondial / Playshare are looking to change software providers - see news article.

EDIT:

I just found this:

"....that Microgaming will be pulling out of the USA when the UIGEA  enforcement date kicks in" (which incidentally is the 1st June).

Considering that most won't accept new players from the US, I'm not surprised. But many could have stayed open till the last moment instead of locking people out years ago.

They could have made more money ;D

I heard this a few days ago also, and I am excited about the switch to US friendly software.  They will accept new players also, so even though no more microgaming for you guys (i"m already excluded due to WA) there will still be a few options.  I'm curious what software they are switching to, they said it will be the same as microgaming etc.

Edit:  I just talked to live support at Grand Mondial and he said a new website for US will be launched and new players can sign up there, but for now they are not accepting new US players.  GRRRRR

Must be true.  I just got an email from Casino Share that they are opening an all new US casino.  US players only.  Supposed to be up and running today.  Just talked to support, said it would be about 2 hours.  the email also said that you will no longer be able to play at their international site.  I was wondering what was going on.  Makes sense now.  Then again, the whole ban doesn't make any sense!

As of the 1st of June, 2010, play for US players on CasinoShare and Grand Mondial will be moved off the Microgaming platform and we will begin licensing software from a brand new software provider. The new software will have a similar look and feel, stability and most of the features you have become accustomed to, but with some notable changes. This change has been made in order to ensure that we are able to continue offering safety, service and exciting gaming to all our customers.

This new casino, called CasinoShare US, launches on the 17th of May, 2010, and will offer players the same look and feel as the Microgaming software they all know and love, as well as all of the features and most of the games they have come to expect from an online casino.
All US players at CasinoShare will be migrated to CasinoShare US by the 17th of May, 2010, whilst all US players at Grand Mondial players will be migrated on the 31st of May, 2010. From a player perspective, the migration process will be completely seamless and won't be required to download new software or open a new account. They will utilize their existing accounts and their balances will be transferred.

This is for existing players only for now!!!

Update!!!
Just download the new software and found out that some of my favorite games are gone...like Burning Desire, Alaskan Fishing...but there are some new games that I have never seen before.
They are still working on upgrading and it won't be done until around 12 pm est today.
Was told that my old players palace acct and casino share will be combined into one casino share acct. My old Casino Share account number worked when I logged in.
