i see...so this is still pretty much a mastercard issue.

you really scared me.

in all actuality, most visa and mastercards have in the terms and conditions a stipulation against gaming.  this is not anything new.  capitol one was the first one to stop me years ago.  this is when i started using debit cards.  its pretty bad that it is going down to the debit card level, but i can see it happening if they are cracking down on internet gaming, and the government is trying to start gaining control.

how else to do it, but by our purchasing methods.

I posted this in another thread, but another example of Mastercard putting the halt on online gaming transactions.
As you have recently used a MasterCard to deposit into your QuickTender account we are writing to advise you that this card deposit option is currently not available. We will advise you if there is any change to this in the future.

However, funds can still be deposited instantly into your QuickTender account using a Visa card. Plus, you can also make an International Bank Wire or request a merchant payout to your QuickTender account. You’ll be surprised how quick an international deposit can be reflected in your QuickTender Account PLUS we do not charge to receive funds by International Bank Wire (although your bank may charge you a fee to send us the funds).

Rest assured we remain totally committed to supporting your payment needs at our expanding network of QuickTender accepting partner merchants.

If you have any question about this notification or require any further assistance about our other deposit options please contact our support team.

I have a QT account with my debit mastercard linked.  I know I can no longer make deposit that way.  I am either going to buy a visa gift card for the first time or transfer funds from my bank account to my QT.  Has anyone in the US done this with QT?  I know it is free with QT but what is your bank charging for the transfer?  I also could use some recommendations for a visa gift card if anyone has any.  I don't want to buy the wrong one.  If they are being denied also I don't want to waste my money.  Thanks for any help!  I really want to play! :-)

I just got my netspend visa card, transfered fund from my netspend mastercard to the visa one and closed my netspend MC.  I know at least the visa still works for at least another 6 months.

I use a WalMart Visa debit card and have never had a problem depositing at any casino. I got several casino emails last week offering $50.00 to deposit my acct. with my Visa--I did at 3 casino's and they gave me the extra 50.00!! I'm in the USA.  Shocked  Cool
