Due to the halting of this by Visa and MC, I suspect that QT will possibly see an uptick in business. HOWEVER that they do it for free for the bank WD to fund the account, they'll probably start charging for that as they sure won't do it for free for long!

Also, I guess thyat the local casinos will see an increase of patrons. I'm looking at this with some curiosity and maybe a positive thought.

I can no longer use my WM Visa, but I can go through QT and then wait and build the account up so I can hit  more casinos. Time will tell. Tongue

Here's some even worse news guys....just got off the phone with my greendot MC card and inquired about this...they were not to clear with me about anything and wouldn't answer my questions, but they did tell me this much, if you were using your card for online gamlbing that no funds would be returned to you and that your card would be permenantly shut down.................ouch!

It's just not going to be so convenient, we can still play.. going to have more fees with other alternatives, kind of the way i see it.

QT doesnt allow MC anymore, so is it just a matter of time for visa too? i hope not.

Hummmmm... ???I used my MC card that I got through paypal worked at one of MG casino yesterday...I usually use my Net Spend card but I didn't want to go out to reload in the rain so I used my MC card.
Well, considering the fees Netspend charges, I'll just use the bank debit portion of QT and just learn to have some patience. 2-4 days ain't great, but like I said about netspend, that's just too much for what little I play with.
I only pay $2 to reload at any check cashing stores it is still better than what I used to pay at any other locations which was $4.95. Smiley

If Quicktender is an e-wallet, why can't they accept masetercard? Maybe they used the same processor? All my Quicktender deposits that I use my mastercard debit card  for show on my bank statement as UMW QT and the wire transfers from my withdrawals show as BayDonHill PLC S.

I can't figure out why they can't accept it unless they charge your card as a gaming transaction.

Ok I know I posted this in another area, but the brakes were hit on sat evening  1/30/2010 after using my prepaid mc the day before, at alladin's sat saw the denied "unauthroized merchant" pop iup. CSR says "we're having a problem with them. It should be up on monday. Use Visa"  Monday told  they were working on it and it looks like it will be up in 10 days. Quicktender disabled the button. Alladin thought it was only them. Prepaid Visa does work. However, blocked by inetbet if you try to deposit directly. I think because inebet list the transaction as "inetbetcasino". Guess i'll get it from both ends because i first used my bank's visa. They called to verify  and the lady says ...such and such..visa doesn't allow internet gambling. A lot of those places will list it as something else in order for it to go through. (on of Alladin's btw came up as a furniture store on the banks end)

The two cheap looking ones from Ralphs, Food$Less & Kroger's Visa's  are affiliated with a  big mastercard company all allowing international transactions for an extra 2% profit masking as currency conversion.

This "so-called" violation is driven by greed and too vague. The economy was in the toilet way before I hit the spin button. #*&^%  it!!   The line forms to the right.  One more thing, one could argue that we're taking a gamble just by purchasing their cards. The service fee is higher than  B of A  atm. A 'Stop internet gaming" pop up is now running on yahoo with a snitch number on it.

If not allowed, remove it here it is...

This is old news Satan...those buttheads permanently shutdown my account in December.  I think I was one of the first.  I have had accounts with them for over 8 years.
