There are banks that will take 3rd party checks. If you know someone who has a bank that will i would take laslin's advice.
Seems as if you might not be able to open a checking account because you would of by now. Maybe you should try a currency exchange or a cash checking place that is land based and not online then you will have a number to provide.
Or is it possible you can get funded the same way you deposited and return the check?

I took my check from them to a check cashing store. I didn't want to risk it not being good and my bank charging me.
I told them it was a payroll check, and they cashed it no problem. They of course verified the funds first.

Did you try Walmart? I've seen they have check cashing at there returns department.
Could you endorse the check to someone you trust and have them pay you the cash?
Sorry you can't get a checking account, everyone needs one, especially to help with future purchases and your credit rating.
Good Luck

It's been a long time since I've been there, but a land based check cashing store called Amscott has always claimed to cash Any Check. They even have a phone number posted all over the store that if your check is not cashed to call that number. Hopefully you have an Amscott near you

I'd watch out a bit, I've been reading that they've been having banking issues. I was hearing that Citibank most recently closed there processors account. So I would first call the bank it's drawn on first to make sure it's good before I'd even proceed to trying to cash it. Just a word to the wise.

I know some people either use a "Trusted Friend" or their spouse. Had a guy tell me he was tired of those check cashing fees. I asked if he was married, he was and so I told him to sign it to her and let her sign it and then deposit it.
Worked like a charm, though it wasn't from a casino.
