It is an interesting read, and for those curious it details the failure to honor a 4,000,000 jackpot and a subsequent report on the Owner and main founder of playtech pocketing nearly 1.9 million of the unpaid win. As the story was first written on another board, (this link leads to a blog) I will not copy and paste the gist of the article here.

So Jimbeaux, then this type of "link posting" is acceptable?
I know it was to a blog (Yes, quite a story) but was curious as to the ban on posting with "Other sites" linked in the posting...

Gene,
As it is not in my section I could not do anything with it, but I followed the link out and saw where it went and that the topic was pertinent and of potential interest to the group.
It may be decided by Luckynn, the section Mod, or by Zuga to remove the link but My feeling on it is that in this one instance, the link is less of a problem than copying and pasting from the site would be...
I also look at a user's previous postings, when a questionable link is placed to determine intent behind the post. Here I see no attempt at personal gain, nor an attempt to drive a hit counter, more of an FYI and heads up...

On the other side, I'm now quite glad to NOT be able to have playtech..

Supermokkel, I saw that and it is why I support the link remaining. The article is very in depth and many of our members do play at on or more playtech casinos, so this kind of heads up is a definite boon to those who are trying to decide whether to deposit or not.

my bad sorry i was just thinking of my fellow LCB members It's ok, since Jimbeaux explained things. I've seen too many people scamming/spamming the board, but I did notice there wasn't any sort of home shot but the article. Thanks for the warning.
