I've had a look at all these famous gamblers (who, incidentally, I had never heard of either) and here is a little summary of who they are
William Lee Bergstrom -
Horseshoe Casino- Placed a bet of $777,000 on the
craps table and walked away with $1.5 million
Nick Dandolos - Won over $500,000 on
horseracing. Lost it on cards and dice. Played heads up with Johnny Moss as a "tourist attraction". The
poker game lasted 5 months and after Dandolos had lost between $2-4 million, he famously said "Mr. Moss, I have to let you go".
Johnny Moss - Gambler and
Poker player. First
WSOP winner.
Brian Moloney - Famous Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce $10 million embezzler
Joseph Jagger "The Man Who Broke the Bank at
Monte Carlo."
I think I would have to pick Johnny Moss for all the right poker reasons.
