Here is some more casinos to add to the do not deposit if UK/IRE resident folks! RED FLUSH,Casino La vida and Major Tom are all leaving uk market soon! I love the raise your game tourneys provided by LCB on these ! Any chance LCB can arrange a deal with another MG casino to enable UK players access to these fantastic tournaments? So just to reiterate if based in UK do not deposit in these casinos as they will not be available to you within the next few weeks.

I am really upset at losing so many casinos which are trustworthy and especially the fact they have daily freeroll slot tournaments which i play most days and will now be entirely excluded from participating in... it genuinely is a very great loss for us uk online players and I dread to think how many more of our most trusted names are still to announce their departure from this market. GUTTED.

At the moment it is still possible to sign in to all of these casinos as a UK player and I personally have not received any notification of being kicked out as yet but I have seen many people discussing it elsewhere on the web so I have no doubt the day is coming very soon when we are all completely excluded

So even exiting players can play anymore bigdk1888? I would think they would no longer accept new UK sign ups.
It is happening very soon even if player has been registered for over a year like me it is due to licensing so far all of gaming club group, crazy vegas and all that group, all slots and now the beloved red flush group getting scrapped from uk custom . They are all saying in the email join betway instead a casino which has been pulled up for bad practices and a bit notorious to be honest. 32 red will def be safe though far too much uk custom. If I hear of any more casinos getting the chop I will let everyone know immediately rest assured! -

By the time anybody lets us know it is gonna be too late by the looks of things, the casinos appear uninterested in telling anybody what is happening in advance, I was hoping this was because they were intending to get a license at the last minute, but it looks like my hopes are about to be dashed. If 32red group disappear as well I am gonna be heartbroken

I think they might have been referring to "Spin Palace" casino, which is part of the Betway group if I remember rightly, ridiculous for them to make such a mistake though, of course. The whole thing has got beyond the joke now, especially with CasinoUK shutting down only a couple of months after transferring all the players from other VPL brands into it - I guess they failed to get a license???

I agree.although if the UK Govt. had pitched it right instead of getting greedy, they could have made a fortune as these operators would never have left the UK market if it wasn't so expensive to stay in it.

The GBGA challenge to the new law is being heard today and tomorrow in the High Court. It'll be interesting to read the result. I guess the European Union does have some good sides to it as the GBGA believe the UK's new POC law is against European Union law. -

Just received this:
Paf is currently applying for an operating licence from the Gambling Commission. While preparing for Paf’s relaunch in Britain according to the Gambling Commission's requirements, Paf has disabled the possibility for new customers in Britain to register a gaming account at Paf. During that period All current Paf customers in Britain will still be able to log in to their accounts and, if desired, make withdrawals from their accounts. These changes will come into force on September 30, 2014.
UK players thereafter will not be able to create new accounts and existing players will not be able to perform any gaming activity until licence has been granted. Paf expects to be granted an operating licence from the Gambling Commission..." -

The legislation has been put back a month today due to some challenges in court, so there is a chance some casinos will allow us to keep playing til the end of October now, though I suppose it depends how far along they are with their migration procedures. I just cannot believe how many we are losing though, its devastating
I mentioned on another thread just now I think one of the big reasons its gone this way is that the law has a condition that prevents software providers from allowing their games to be used by any casino who has not obtained a license, at penalty of being prevented from offering their games AT ALL, even from licensed vendors. As a result I imagine Playtech/Microgaming/NetEnt are going to great lengths to ensure all of their clients are either applying for the license, or kicking out their UK customers - any hopes of a 'grey market' seem to be out the window, perhaps with the exception of RTG who may continue as they were because NONE of their casinos intend to get a UK license, therefore none of them have anything to lose! What a ridiculous and backwards situation! -

I feel that this new regulation procedure has been coming for quite some time now. Greed seems to be a word that is used widely to describe it.
When I started gambling, problem gambling was rarely a thing. Bookmakers only offered betting on the horses and dogs. Pub's had fruit machines there with £5 jackpot's purely to give their customers some entertainment and hopefully keep them in the pub longer so they buy another beer or 2. Chip shops/takeaways also had £5 jackpot fruit machines which gave the customer a bit of fun while waiting for their food to be cooked.
Players wouldn't mind losing a few £'s. That all changed when the industry became greedy.
All types of gambling device/service was making profit... yet it just wasn't enough for the owners and shareholders.
Notoriously bad FOBT's entered bookmakers allowing £100 bet per spin on roulette/hand on blackjack. Pub fruit machine jackpot's were increased, but the payout % lowered (from 80% to just 74% on average). Now they stand at £100 jackpot and can take over £20 before they let players on the feature game board.
Gambling was put everywhere, tv, sports team sponsor's, all on the high street and the online market thrived. Many people who used to gamble previously and didn't mind losing a few £'s played the new wave of gambling only to find they were gambling more and it's much harder to walk away from a £30 loss than a £3 loss.
It became more mainstream partly because of the amount of problem gamblers but also because gambling is everywhere. Yet the only move the government made was restricting chip shops/takeaway's from having fruit machines and only allowing them to have games of skill. They were not the problem though as many kept to having the old £5 jackpot machines.
Now the greed of the industry is having consequences. The government are demanding that casino's that are located offshore to bypass hefty tax, pay tax if they offer gambling to UK customers meaning many no longer offer gambling to the UK.
Sad times for gambling but I understand completely why it's a thing -

If u wanna blame anyone for the media frenzy the past ten years u have to point the finger at Blair-Brown. They gave the go ahead, not bookies fault. If u don't ask u don't get;)
What I did find funny was I went into a pub just to use the loo. Whipped my pecker out, looked straight at the wall and what was there? Casino promo , leaving Durex in its wake -

I think some RTG casino's are also pulling out.
What I find odd is why flagship RTG Casinos e.g Highnoon, Lucky Red, All Star Slots do not take Uk players? Whereas the rouge type casino excepts?
This is why I'll never play RTG again and doubt they will have the Gambling Comission logo on their wegpages. If I won several grand, they could come up with all sorts like, we did not sign up to Gambling Comission so we can not pay u. Was our mistake for signing u up so winnings are void -

RTG has always been like that and i think they are going to take a turn for the worse (if that is possible). Without anyone to monitor their behavior, the non payment complaints will get worse IMO.
I deposited for the first time to a RTG since Feb of this year. Nothing has changed as I see. I was honestly glad the session was over. Removed the software and now there is no RTG on my computer. They are horrible IMHO... -

Due to UK Legislation, CasinoEuro is closing all GB accounts as of 30th of March 2015. This development will regrettably result in the closure of all GB player accounts.
Any money left pending will require to be withdrawn by the above date. In accordance with UKGC regulations - players will need to show proof of age before making any withdrawal.
