>:( I have finally had it up to here with online gambling and casinos. I love this site and hope I am not breaking any rules by ranting, but tonight was the last straw. I have deposited over 2 K and have only had one withdrawal from a free chip for 50 dollars. I am just wondering, am I completely unlucky or is winning online nearly impossible? I see so many of yall hit on slots and I have heard so many withdrawal stories that I thought I could do the same. Unfortunately, I believe the largest I have ever had my bankroll up to was around 250 dollars. I do like everyone on the site and am glad that some members have pulled in a great amount of cash from the online gambling world, but I just felt like going on a rant after I lost 125 tonight. My birthday is coming up on the 23rd so I am going to wait for the free chips but after that I think I am deleting all casinos. Sorry if I annoyed or offended anyone on the forum. I respect all members on the site and would love to get your two cents on my situation. Have a wonderful night

Hiya Jfrye,
I know how you feel. As a gambler we all get frustrated and winning and losing goes in cycles it seems. The losing unfortunately can be a longer streak than winning. You have said nothing wrong so don't be sorry! We have an honest open forum and everyone needs to vent now and again.
I am sorry for your stroke of bad luck. If you feel it best to cool off for awhile then do what is best for you.
I hope your birthday brings you good luck and i hope you still come to visit us often. I has been so nice to see you back with us.
Take care of you and down let it get you down......we are here to give ya a great big hug and moral support!

Thank you Lips! I really enjoy reading your posts...I wasn't aware of the rules on the site and also did not want to seem like a complaining loser...I just have never won and do not understand it...I have never been on a losing streak like I have with online gambling...I just do not know what to do, but I do plan on sticking around on the forum because I LOVE to see all of you hit big!!! Good luck all

sorry to hear that jfrye1, I would try to find the biggest bonus I can find from the same software type casinos that you used to play, you wont lose that much with the big bonus and try to play on slots differ from the ones you used to play. Maybe then, your luck will turn around.

I uninstalled every casino on my computer today also for the same reason, and the issue I'm having trying to get paid from my only win after thousands also. Then I remembered I had entered PAID tournaments in a couple vegas techs and redownloaded those only. I'm going to play those tourney's, then I'm done for a bit too. But I have said this before, so I hope I stick with it. It's so hard though. Good luck to you, and you are definitely NOT alone.

I have quit gambling, well quit depositing rather. I will not deposit anymore because I just don't get any entertainment, let alone a cashout. I play with free chips from contests that I enter here on the forums, but that is about it. I think I have deposited $15 in the last month.
Hope your luck gets better, and I hope to see you around here still

Jfrye1 I recently decided to return after a big win on a free chip promotion. Weeks earlier rogue casinos (I thought they had good reputations) denied me hundreds of dollars in winnings, while the last of my bankroll was eaten up by a casino asking for deposit on a payout (which never paid out). So if you decide to never come back, I understand. You may even want a "clean break"--no emails, forums--nothing gambling related. It helped me at the time.

I am very upset myself with the casinos I won 2000 last week and found out today they are going to pay me 850 today and 850 next week and the rest in two weeks. I was so pissed I took 100 of it and redeposited it and ended up turning it into another 700 but i still have to wait two weeks to get it. It's just not fun any more. We need a new casino that cares about it's customers and I haven't found that yet! They all want our money but change their tone when we want ours.

for what it's worth I take so much oney a week and limit myself to that. I look at it as my entertainment. I don't drink and spend any other money so I think I deserve it. So I don't spend that much at one time. I use a pre-paid card and only put on it what I am willing to lose. that way if I run out I'm not tempted to play more. If you are using bill money don't do it, the pressure makes you play differently and you will never win. But if you play for fun and have fun you can't lose. What would it cost you to go out, that's what you spend. Just my opinion for what it's worth

Hi, jfrye...
You are not alone and believe me!!!
I too once have had some serious thoughts and shares of regrets...
What really helped me was realizing the fact after many tiresome years of losing after losing that I have been playing too hard to be a 'winner', instead of just enjoying it while at it...and numerous times I have felt like I was a loser...?
And the worse part was that I let it become my sanctuary........used it as a gateway to run and hide...until I asked myself...what's left of me now? I was so closed to feel so ashamed...for what? so I took some times to cool myself off...and it worked!
I know this will sounds kind corny but having LCB as part of my life really did help me a lot...people I got to know, the stories of experiences we share...like now...seeing yours and many others frustration and aggravation makes me feel like seeing my own reflection. I have experienced this many times myself.....
Whatever you decide, I respect your decision...I would still want you to come around so often even chat with me...
I am always here for you if you need a friend to talk or cry ...oh, and ofc you can also vent/rant away when needs to be... -

My friend, that is why they call it "gambling." The probabilty is always stacked in the casino's favor, land or online. So, yes, it is very probable that someone would deposit $2000 and win nothing. I have deposited big bucks and won ZERO. And, I have had like $2 in my account and won almost $1000.
What games are you playing? You may want to try some table games that give you SOME benefit of player input and action. (Poker, tournament play, etc.) Slots are just too random.
Just the psychologist in me wants to add: Just becareful you are not getting addicted.
LCB is a great community to get support, though. Win or loose...you'll have friends and plenty of gambling-war stories to share! -

jfrye1 I can definitely sympathize. I went for almost two years without a withdrawal. Nothing I did seem to work. Then all of a sudden my luck went good (although for a brief time) and I had a few decent withdrawals. I have definitely lost alot more than I have won. Now I go into it with the frame of mind that I just want to have fun and expect to win nothing. That way if I lose, I'm not disappointed...I just wanted to have fun anyway not win. And if lady luck sits on my shoulder than giddy up lol.

I'll only say that there's times one needs to "Take a break" from gambling and just relax and do other things.
Personally, I play the freebies (Vegas Techs) and play them high as otherwise it might distract me from my studies. Lose quick or have a rollercoaster time but lose in the end. I'm then back to studies and feeling ok.
This weekend I am debating between online or hitting the bars. $100 max and that's all...Online would give me bonus, Bars give slightly better odds and free soft drinks. Choices, choices. -

jfrye - you aren't the first and you won't be the last but total understanding comes with your decision.
I have recently closed 2 casino accounts because its just deposit after deposit and never a win. I'd had enough. So Im sticking to 4 casinos that I can withdraw from on a regular basis.
Good luck with your "no gambling" but please do stay here at the forum as you were missed last time and we only just got you back.

2 x Microgaming which you guys can't play at - AllSlots 3 cashouts in a row, Platinum Play These guys gave me a $25 chip and I won a good few hundred off it. They paid up no probs. Great Casino.
2 x RTG - iNetBet and Casino Titan
1 other RTG which I have said I won't play at but I will probably go back to is Jackpot Capital - I'm a silver vip at this one. They pay up within 36 hours no quibbles.
I uninstalled Intercasino because the cashouts were so few and far between it just wasn't worth playing there any more. I also uninstalled Grand Mondial (another MG casino) for the same reason. They paid no quibbles when you won but the losses far outweighed the wins.
I should add that I make very small deposits from between $10 and $25. Never any more.

I totally feel for you! I have battled gambling since I first started playing online bingo. That's all it took for me to become addicted. I can't tell you how many times I have lost my whole husband's paycheck before he even earned it for that week. I have quite for about 8 months and then come back. I do notice that when I finally say "I am done, no more spending money on gambling" I win something. It is so strange how that works.
Once I closed my neteller account and got a cd in the mail from Big Dollar Casino with a free $100 no deposit. I cashed out 1300 I think. Then recently my spending was getting out of hand AGAIN and uninstalled everything from my computer and said "no more". It just so happens to be the weekend Rushmore started their free tournaments. I won first prize 2.5k. After that I gambled some more and then finally decided I will only play freebies for a while. I claimed a 100 comp points the other day for 1.00 and cashed out $800. It amazes me how this happens. I do agree if you are spending money that needs to go to other areas of your life you will not have fun. You will get the rush of gambling but the fun is not there. I have deposited and redeposited so many times when I knew I shouldn't. I would be crying with each spin because I knew I was doing wrong.
You feel like most of us do a lot of the time. If I were you and you are serious about not spending money then just do as I do and check this forum daily. There is free chips or tournaments atleast twice a week. I look forward to finding them. When I do I feel like a real winner. Plus for some reason, I have more fun playing the free chips or free spins and it feels like a challenge to make some cash that way. It is more rewarding and exciting. I wish you much luck in your journey even if you decide to give it up or stick around. I do know when I take my 8-12 month breaks I spend more time with my family and get so much done around my house. I just wish I could find the balance between being able to play and not going overboard. I have the best husband in the world. He tells me I can spend whatever money we have left over at the end of the month as long as I pay the bills. Even knowing this, I still struggle with just paying the bills. Sorry this is so long I just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you and have been were you are so many times. Good luck. -

Get this: Tuesday the urge to deposit hit me hard. I mean so hard I was going to deposit by overdrawing my bank account. I prayed on it and put my mind on other things. I did really good and was SO proud of myself. I think it has been almost 3 weeks since I have deposited but the urge almost overpowered me. Tuesday night I found the 100 comp points at Lucky Club casino. Which was only a buck. I turned that buck into 900+ and cashed out 800. It felt wonderful to know I fought off the urge and still came out a winner and didn't do any damage to my bank account.

Yep, stay strong everyone. I love to gamble, heck it's in my blood...being from Vegas and all. However, I just had enough. I was also heavily addicted to it at one point in time. Mostly when I first started playing online. I would play alll day, spend money I didn't have, and that was the worst.
I have alot of responsibilities, and I was slacking off. I wasn't taking care of business the way I should have.
Anyways, I got to a point where I said enough is enough. I don't have very much extra money, and what I do have, I feel I could do better things with it instead of throwing it away gambling.
Now, with that said, I enjoy playing just as much as the next guy still, but I don't let it get ahold on me like it used to. If I am lucky I will have an extra $20 to play now and then, and when that's done..I am done playing. I will still play at tourneys and free chips...
I just feel alot of it also has to do with more and more casinos going bad. Reputable casinos being sold to rogue companies, payouts taking months, etc etc. There aren't that many casinos you can trust anymore. I think that helped with the decision to slow down my depositing.
I also think LCB helps my urge to play too...Silly as it seems, since this is afterall a GAMBLING forum. I keep myself busy, by reading and posting, and getting to know people on here, and that keeps my mind off of playing.
So just stay strong, and if you really want to quit, you can do it. There is alot of support here at LCB.
Good for you bonusroundplease, that is awesome. Just remember that feeling you have now, knowing that you can overcome those thoughts of spending money you can't afford to lose.
WTG on that fantastic cashout too!!!!

thanks for sharing. I feel it is comming to the point where I am going to quit. I have spent so much money trying to win. It just does not seem worth the effort anymore. I dont feel that any of these casinos are reputable. They seem to not evengive you half a chance of getting your money back or a decent amount of playtime. This forum has been indeed helpful and I appreciate all the info and help I have recieved since becomming a member. Good luck to all.

i love to gamble and ive cashed out on free chips a lot never my own money.ive been asked when im posting for some contests am i rich not (even).i to am like every1 else I LOVE TO GAMBLE.Now im not depositing 1000s like i did when i firs started out at golden casino and the other vegas groups. Before i found forums i didnt know about other casinos and free chips because vegas tech arent big on giving them lol.Ive been gambling for almost a year now and my strategy (for what its worth)is at rival i play the 3 reel slots (gold rush ,milk the cow etc.)on 15 cents then slowly work my way up not going over 75 cents and even though it takes ages i make playthrough. At the rtgs the same i love aladens gold slot i play 20 cents then build up especially when i get the lamps and free spins. My opinon (only)is maybe you could change your strategy.I know bigger bets mean bigger wins but if you could learn to retrain your habits im sure you could cashout even if its just $200 on a $20 deposit thats something to keep you in.Gl to you

I feel your pain trust me....I have NEVER won anything since gambling online. I too see all these winner screenshots, I do not hit S***. I take the bonuses, then not take them. It does NOT matter. I live down the street from Foxwoods Resort casino the worlds LARGEST and I win more there than any other place. I just like the convenience of gambling from home. But now I too, am starting to wonder...........

Is chances to win just larger at land based places or is the problem just its so easy to play from home you fell more comfortable just sitting at home doing whatever while spinning.
Cause tbh i won more at land based places then online but ofc i dont play often at any real slots.
Took a few months break from gaming in feburary to june also cause of huge losses, been a little better the last month but nothing to make me even close to even. -

Well jfrye1, that is what I like our forum for: good common sense posts.
I am the play-to-win guy myself and my only advice to you would be:
Do not take bonuses when playing with real money!
You may have a bigger bank roll, but you are caught in the casino. Even worse, you are out of control. Just forget about the bonus money. There is no such thing as a free lunch.
This is also true for the birthday chips you are waiting for. Look for the terms and conditions they come with.
To make gambling fun, you have stop thinking in absolute numbers and rather go "relative". I.e., going in with 50 at 8 pm, going out at 8.37 pm with 95. That is a sweet about-100-percent profit!
Think of it as of a one night stand: no rules, nothing complcated, just good adult entertainment.
So my next advice would be: Do not scale up! When you loose rhe 50 at 8.19 pm you still have a bankroll. It is still you who decides what to next when you only use portions of your bank roll, if you are not caught in bonus terms.
Just see it like this: Taking the 45 from the first example makes you an almost 100 % winner. -

Well I never have taken any bonuses actually....I always play straight up with low bets but I think a good point was made when it was brought up, do we just play online bc of the convenience? I know that I do bc the closest casino to me is over 2.5 hours away and an Indian casino at that....(Even though I have won 2.8 k on a jackpot there lol...But honestly doing good with the new gambling rules I have put myself on which is NO GAMBLING AT ALL...I have canceled my debit card and kept myself to strictly cash and checks....Anyways I love the forum and everyones post and wish everyone good luck!!

Everyone here makes some pretty valid points!! Jfrye, I can understand your frustration. Trust me when I say that. I really don't gamble that often, but I do on occasion. I think you have done the right thing for yourself. I applaud you in making your decision, you stopped it before it got way out of control. I know it isn't easy, but we are here to help and support you if you need any of us.
I say watch your bank account grow and spend it on something nice for yourself. You will get more satisfaction out of that, then gambling. Soon you will be purchasing something that you really wanted and be able to enjoy for a long time. That sure beats 10 minutes of frustration as you watch your deposit dwindle.

Oddly enough, I have never cashed out WITHOUT using a bonus code.. lol
Lock, Cocoa and VRC.. all 4 digit cashout's using a bonus code. All cashouts shot me in the foot though, as I was limited by the "max cashout".
I have deposited thousands of dollars without a bonus and it goes absolutely nowhere.
Another quick tip.. I have made all of my cashouts by betting a decent amount per spin.. normally 2.50 on RTG and 3.75 on Rivals... even if I cant afford it with my starting amount. Trust me, it is much better to go busto in 3 hours betting high.. than it is to go busto after betting .25 per spin for a week and not clearing pt. -
