Hiya LCB'ers,

So now the DOJ has determined the Wire Act in 1961 is referring to sports betting only. It took (let me do the math)....... 50 years for the US government to finally figure it out. If there was a higher intelligence looking down on us they would probably scratch their heads and who knows what else and say "huh"?  Well to be honest there is plenty of earthlings thinking the same thing!

Now there is a big spaghetti bowl mess to sift through. Why is sports betting considered to be "illegal" in the first place. Especially when you consider that many states now ONLY allow sports betting online including my own state. Ahhh that's right ONLY horse racing is legal in my state....another "huh" moment.  Ok, so that means the gov has determined that horse racing is not a form of sports betting....uh huh that makes sense  Shocked

With this new decision does that mean that all the law suits, prison time and hefty fines against online poker sites will be dropped? After all the law now clearly states it's for sport bets only remember? Oh oh oh....how silly of me of course these cases won't be dropped because we have the UIGEA implemented in 2006. But but but........does that law really count now? The US gov is going to tell us yes...another "huh" moment.

This is great news because it will now open the virtual doors for online gambling for US players and the sky is the limit. But wait one sec, rumors are circulating that online Poker will be considered but that online casinos are a long way off......huh?

Can you see why i am so confused? Why in the world would sports betting be considered illegal but not any other form of gambling? Yet we will still have restrictions on forms of gambling, you can bet your bottom dollar on that. It's like handing a kid a lollipop and then taking it back because it isn't the right color, shape, flavor or design. A lollipop is a lollipop no matter how you look at it!

It took 50 years folks to decipher a law on the books. In the mean time it has reeked havoc on us all. And now after they untangle all that spaghetti where will it leave the US gambler? The insanity of it all continues...........

Confused hardly describes it. They finally determine what a law from 1961 prohibits. They allowed online gambling in the US at one time not so long ago. They ban it. Now they realize that they were wrong??? Ya gotta be kidding me! I love my USA but my gosh how dumb do they look now!

This was all planned out. They knew it was a law for sports betting. But the major casinos (lobbyists). Got in the pockets of lawmakers. And made them pass this unconstitutional law. The American people, whom are afraid to stand up and fight. Allow their freedom to taken away as usual.

So now that the major casinos are ready to offer online gambling in the us. The law now changes to reflect the new regulations

Look at what major casino is already prepared to launch to USA

Well, Nevada is getting to go for online, but with restrictions, sports betting only? Poker? This makes no sense.. gambling is gambling right? Another thing that is so strange is.. we can't have lottery tickets in Nevada, and horse betting racetracks are allowed in Cali, there are no horse track here in Nevada.. casinos are only allowed on "indian reservation land".. take one step over the boarder and you can bet/gamble your heart out, but can't have a lottery or scratch ticket..lol.. now..let me get this straight.. betting... gambling.. i guess each word has a different meaning than we've know that we missed somewhere along the 50 year thing?
