Another one bites the dust... a message in the casino lobby says that English Harbour Casino will be closing its doors on August 1st. They suggest that if you have any existing funds there to either play them or request a payout before august 1st....

Hi Tim,
I can see where some of these casinos are feeling the heat and is necessary as a business decision. But i just hope that some of them do it with dignity and respect the US players and payout what is owed.
Or don't offer attractive bonuses we can't resist and pull the rug out from under us to bleed us for every last nickel they can get only to close the doors the next day.
Because when it is all said and done and the banned is lifted we will have choices and not be dictated to where we can play and where we can't.

I know EH group did not want to go out with dignity. They do pay in timely manner and everything, but they ripped us off on the withdrawal fees. Normally, a check withdrawal fee costs $35, since they know that they will be closing out, they increased the fee to $60. So, if you have a balance of $50, you can either play it off or win it up to more than $60. And if you have a balance of $70, you decide to cash out, then you have $10 left.

I agree, total ripoff with the withdrawl fees. Just received check with $60 taken out. Absolute disgrace from this casino who ripped off so many players with terrible payouts over the years. I don't feel bad for them at all...they made a ton of money from U.S. players and are cashing out before the Feds catch them. The only U.S. casinos left will be those located in Costa Rica (rogue heaven) and will dare the U.S. government to go after them. Yes, Clubworld and the likes are located in Costa Rica.

maybe I'll go back to the very late night Oddsmaker tourneys, if they are still available to US. I really appreciate casinos that let me play for free and *maybe* *someday* have some cash to show for my efforts. It's better than 24 hr. Casey Anthony on 1/2 my channels.

I am posting this because EH Group always treated me well. I used to have accounts with lots of different groups until they kicked me to the curb because I am in New York. So I played with EH alot. Always nice bonuses, free cash and presents for my birthday and Xmas. Last year I got $100 and a Canon digital camera. None of my Microgaming casinos treated me that well. Only ones came close were Allslots and Golden Tiger. Anyway, i am heartbroken and angry. I called them and was told by management that they would like to stay in US market but they no longer have a viable payment processor and that funds were seized without warning. So it comes down to "How can you run a casino if you have no way to make or accept payments to customers?" Those of you who dont realize how bad this is or dont care, will see that the only ones left in this market will be the rogues who are willing to bend the law. Hope im wrong but this seems like the end.

The only ones will be RTG because they have been the most dishonest casino software group of them all. The majority of their casinos are rogues and they feel they are above the law. I hope their greed is good company when they finally do go down. It's probably just a matter of time.
