  • Hiya LCB'ers

Due to some of the complaints about online casinos in recent months it is important to know what to expect before making a deposit or withdrawal. Many of these situations can be avoided and in many cases players are not doing their homework or ignore the warnings.

I am mainly referring to players who complain about certain casinos when in fact it could have been easily avoided. Of course there are legit complaints and sometimes deposits/withdrawals go awry and LCB is here to help.

But when a player makes a deposit, takes a bonus and wins only to find out their withdrawal has been declined or winnings reduced due to not following the terms and conditions, the casino is blamed. Reading thoroughly what games are restricted, max cash-out on bonus, max bet and wagering requirements will greatly reduce the anguish and players will know what to expect.

Always read the withdrawal terms including what is the min/max payout per week/month, how long it will take to process your withdrawal and what your banking options to withdraw are.
If you can't find the terms or don't understand them ask support to make it clear.

If you don't like the terms don't play there only to complain after the fact when you knew what you were getting into in the first place.

And by all means if the Casino has a LCB Warning or too many members have posted complaints about a particular site don't play there!

Too often players go back and keep playing at the very casino they continuously complain about.

Play only at casino that have built a good reputation and have positive feed back from those who know best, the members that have played there.

Only when the terms and conditions are not adhered to as specified by the casino is a complaint considered legitimate.

For US players they need to know before making a deposit they could face delays on withdrawals due to processor issues that is beyond the casino's control. And if there is, the best policy for any casino to follow is to let the player know upfront and not make up excuses, or ignore players concerns when contacting support. It would save a lot of grief of broken promises and build a better relationship with their customers.

It is your hard earned money you are playing with so play wisely.

  • Great advice, I'm still fairly new to online casinos and have fallen victim to this. I tend to get excited and just want that bonus and don't read the fine print. I have learned to pay more attention so I know what I'm walking into.  thumbs_up

  • Sound advice Lips and oh so true.

  • All great advices lips, doubt there is anything to add cheesy

Hopefully more people will take them into consideration in the future when choosing to deposit.

  • Its what's great about lcb educating and looking out for members. Right on lips for a job well done. Also I would suggest making sure they are licensed and where they are licensed.

  • Good advice lips. It's critical to know what you're getting into with online casinos. Good point regarding licensing liquorman. Some countries just go by their own rules which don't protect players. Can't be too careful.

  •           Couldn't agree more Lips,  I think a lot of people wouldn't have half the problems they do if they just heeded the plentiful warnings.    I always think a second opinion is valuable  and we are sure as s*** the opinionated bunch to give it exclamation

  • the advice is good and true, yes.

however, related to that (and this is only a sugestion), LCB also should have something marked in casinos with "predatory terms", specially for newbies (and i am not talking to me, because i may not post a lot, but i already play since 2007)

like most of the  playtech casinos that dont pay the withdrawals in full to the player, neither increase the weekly max cashout for that cases,  but playtech pays in full to the casino, so if a casino wins a progressive jackpot, is not the player winning, its the casino that is winning the lottery

because it will stay with player´s money i dont know how many years

  • to add, during withdrawal and they ask for your documents, ensure to cover the middle 8 digits of the card and the first four at the back; example: 4321 xxxx xxxx 1234 (front); xxxx 123 (back) just to ensure that your card will not be compromised.

On the back it should be "1234 xxx" - it's those last 3 digits that should be blacked out (known as CVV  (Card Verification Value) aka CSC (Card Security Code).

really? wait. a playtech casino asked for this before for withdrawal. i gave it of course. they said that it's necessary for them to have it for processing the WD.
  • Yes really.  You must never send a copy of the back of a card with those last 3 digits on the reverse showing.

  • man, i should check with my bank if there's anything funny with my transactions. hope i don't have any double charging or anonymous transactions. thank you for this.

  • Excellent recommendations, and being a novice playing online casinos I have fallen victim to such situation....Nice Share...Thanks exclamation

  • I agree.  However, beware as it often difficult to determine their terms from what is written on their websites, so I would add to either email or chat with support(and save the chat) with your specific concerns.  Thus you have documentation should an issue arise.

Additionally, beware that they often change their terms without updating their website or advising you of the changes.  So, you might have to chat with support to determine if changes have been made since the last time you deposited.

  • I agree with footdr, and I always check with the support about the terms, and check about the document verification part, which I try to do before winning, just to be able to get my withdrawal as soon as possible when I do win...
Oh, and definitely never send a full card number to anyone.

  • Great Topic and great advice by Lips,"you should know what to expect"
There seem to be a lot of discussion about the Virtual group being bad and since this topic is about knowing what to expect before you play, I'd like to share some experience I've had so readers will know what to expect there vs. say Club World. Over the past year I've played at both Captain jack (Virtual group) and Alladins Gold (Club World) casinos a lot. Alladins Gold pays my credit card directly, usually within a week, good support, friendly staff, but I have had a hard time winning much, though I am in the green. Captain Jack on the other hand, I've  won a lot lot more, also has friendly staff, but every time I win I have to wait and email and email and chat to keep reminding them etc to get paid in an average of 6-8 weeks. I have to add too that I have been paid every time every cent at both casinos. For me there's just the difference of winning amounts and time to get paid (my experience) I still play at both but know what to expect at each.

  • I deposit at winpalace and make cashout of $150 after papers were ok, took long time but got my pay

  • Thanks for the tips and advice Lips... and everyone else.

It is always nice to get feedback from other members.

I made a cashout at Club World with no problems.  Obviously had to wait the 48hours before it was processed.
What gets me?  I paid the $25 for a courier check.  Club World sent me an email with a fedex tracking number.  I checked and the check has been sitting at my local fedex location for 5 days.  There is a notation it is 'not deliverable' until tomorrow (Tue).  Makes zero sense to me....the delay.

  • I must be an exception, but I've never had any problem with any casino. I've always received my winnings! Not a single dispute in 8 years! For the info, I've never deposited money at a RTG, Rival or Top Game casino...

  • thats why lcb is so good with stating the terms and why half the time i dont use the free deposit bonuses

  • thank you. very helpful info.

  • angel. So true wish I would have known before wasting so. Much money now I research before I play
  • Hello,

Your advice and suggestions are very valid all the time. Players have to read the T&Cs very carefully, before making a deposit. And on the other side, casino consider as a regular depositing player who has not abuse any bonus policy, then they actually can apply T&Cs in less strict way, as I have experience. For example, in many casinos, it says that withdrawals from free bonus in a row can be denied. But, UptownAces and Slotocash where I am a VIP level playing well over one year or two, they gave me the withdrawal from free bonus after one free bonus (Lost). The amount was the max of $500 then. As I remember, I had one more same case in Grande Vegas, too.

If you avoid the sheer rogue casinos, it depends how you build up on your plays.

  • I agree ! You should always be alert !

  • Wow this is good advice ever! I like it! Keep it up and support always! angel

  • I always read the rules before play in any casino. But sometimes casinos themselves break them. Often this concerns the timing of withdrawal. Most often violate the terms of withdrawal.

  • I hardly read through all the terms as my bad language ability. Fortunately, the casinos where I always play do not have many bonuses. Otherwise, it will be more complicated than usual.

  • I want to make a deposit at gossip slots or drakecasino but I have played my two bonuses and I do the freeroll tournament every day will that screw me up when it comes time to  cash out minitinkerbella

  • These days, I think that I am pretty luckier with free chips than before.

The other day, I withdrew $50 max from iNetBet USD Casino where the odds are really bad.

And yesterday, I got the freeroll prize ($15) in iNetBet USD which attach 15x wagering on the winning with the max withdrawal of 10 x prize only. And anyway, I made it up to the max withdrawal, waiting for it.

And a few weeks ago, I made another withdawal with LCB 20 chips from Casino Extreme, too.

But, the overall success frequency is 2~3 out of 10 free bonuses.

  • Really a great advice and you can say Lipstick post is speaking from experience and i surely will take your advice , Thank You!

  • Good advice, especially to the new players, must be careful with the casino especially not very known be careful with the crocs. :))

  • Very correct words you say and give useful advice, I never get lazy, I am amazed for a little time and read all the rules and conditions, especially if I take a deposit bonus, it is better to lose 10 minutes of my time and learn everything than to have big problems and lose my winnings Because of his own mistakes, perfect for not knowing.

  • It had been so much headache with withdrawing before, especially with Vulcan and the Gambler. But it's been already a month as I switched novomatic company to  and all the services related games and slots totally kick ass. Highly recommendingthumbs_up

  • One little thing I have learned in life is that no matter how unfair a contract might be, either written or verbal, if you agree to it's terms you are then honor and duty bound (not to mention legally) to live up to fulfilling said contract.

Casino terms and conditions are a contract you agree to when you take a bonus. So yes what is said here about that is true. My gripe is that playing at a casino should not require spending two hours carefully reading and trying to understand many paragraphs of legal language.

I wonder if anyone knows about the new law in Denmark that restricts online casino's with a Danish Gambling Authority license from requiring more than a 10X playthrough on bonuses?

Can anyone tell me if casino's are honoring this new law which went into effect in January this year 2019? I did get a 100 kroner bonus from Mr. Green after the new year and it seemed the playthrough went very easy and fast and I withdrew 600 kroner without any trouble.

I would really like some confirmation that this law is in effect and if anyone has any knowledge I would appreciate your sharing any details about the new law.

Does it apply to all bonuses or just certain types of bonuses? I could not withdraw 100 kroner of my balance recently from Mr. Green so I am also wondering if the bonus amount is somehow not withdrawable even though the new 10x playthrough is met?

Anyone giving me any info who knows more about this would be much appreciated.

Thanks and good luck to all

  • Be careful with new casinos.
Especially make sure that they do not have fake software and a bad reputation.

  • I have now more experience and first before deposit read reviews about casino, upload documents and wait for verification, read terms and conditions and than deposit.

  • I always read the casinos review and the terms and conditions before playing. I don't deposit in casinos with warning and only play regularly in top rated casinos. I sometimes play free spins or no deposit bonuses in new casinos or in casinos with medium or bad rating. If I win and cash out without problems, I sometimes make a minimum deposit in these casinos. I cashed out for example 200$ won from 2 free chips and deposited one time in Vegas Rush Casino, but I was very carefull because of their 2.1 rating.

  • I always take my time to read deposit and withdrawal terms.on my browser I go to options then 'find in page' I type in the word deposit or withdrawals, any sentences with those words are highlighted making it more easy for me to read through.

  • Such a simple advice but I did the same mistake a couple of times before realizing that you better spend a little bit more time at the beginning reading carefully T&C than regret even coming across the casino after not being able to withdraw.

  • I think all casinos should have the same t&C...if they are allowed to put down anything they like it affect we the ones putting money in their trust

  • Very big data, even with difficulty to believe that this can be true.

  • This is really good information and I think one thing that we need to remember is that they are Running their business to and they need to make their money that, (that was kind of more for myself because I like my no deposit bonuses) and free spins but yes to be verified wait for the baby occasions to go through to make sure that they take bitcoin or do you have a bank account that can be wired money to how is the plate back is it 50 times through or 100 times or what's the max cash out I mean some of these casinos are just fake but some of them really want you to prove that you're real to

  • Yes, Experience always comes in handy but it comes at a price try and try again until you get it and get it right. At least this is a fun way to practice out trial and error tactics, this can be practice for real life scenarios

  • I would suggest you to choose No Deposit bonuses in order to test out the casino before depositing. Secondly, it is important to check the casino ratings as well as the members' comments. It is also helpful that here at LCB there is the list of the Casinos with the warning sign to let the players know what to expect and warn them about the potential consequences Rogue Online Casinos .

My money was recently stolen, but I also knew not to mention 3 numbers on the back!

  • Before I deposit 10 euro. I always expected to withdrawal immediately if my balance has been reached 200 euro.

But in real life: After few minutes my balnce is already exceed 200 euro goal.

And then I kept playing and playing. Accidentally hit 1400 euro.

No, I should make withdrawal now.

But I'm not doing it. Finally I realized, I am stupid.

  • Hi Eknarin Thuriwan,

It happened to me so many times. When we are supposed to make a withdrawal, we expect to win the highest amount. May next time be much better than prevous one. Hopefully money

  • With my experience with online casinos, to avoid problems you have to choose the right casino, verify your account before making a deposit, read the casino's terms and conditions carefully and avoid deposit bonuses.

  • This is a great post, Lipstick.  I wish I had one of these types of guides to learn from and gain knowlege from when I started playing.
