I joined a scratchcards site and they sent me an email saying that I had been chosen for a great 300% bonus. So I deposited $25, expecting $75 bonus. Instead I got $25 bonus and I emailed them , only to be told that the "300%" bonus is in fact 3 separate 100% bonuses. That is NOT 300%!! I have seen a few casinos try and pull this stunt, just got an email from Scratchmania telling me I can get 250%, which is 2 125% bonuses. I was so annoyed when this happened, I think it is misleading and WRONG.

Yes, it probably was, but if someone says you have a 300% bonus, why would I assume it was anything but a 300% bonus?

I must admit that in the last year or so I have become a bit more lax with reading terms and conditions, which is bad. I guess after playing for 3-4 years, I have come to assume that I know most of the important things to look for like wagering, included games and max cashout and I don't tend to read much else - I used to spend hours looking at this stuff.

They did make it sound like a special bonus and when you go to their promo page, a 300% bonus is not listed, just the once-off 100% up to $200, so I couldn't find any more information about the bonus I was offered easily.

The email I got says :

I guess it's a lesson learned then, advertising does involve a bit of lying most times. I always try to read the fine print even if it's time-consuming.
