  • A rep just told me any winnings from a freeroll tournament are non cashable, just the ones that have a fee (and you can't use freeroll winnings to pay for tournaments.) FYI

  • rtg freerolls are getting depressing sad sad

  • play with rushmore or cluworld group, you are worry-free

    Yep! I do grin
  • Does this mean the money is worthless, has a playthrough attached, or does it mean it's subtracted from whatever you try to withdraw?

  • The money is worthless.  Moreover any winnings from that money is worthless, regardless of the game, tourney or otherwise.

  • I find that hard to believe...

I saw nothing in their terms about this.  Maybe only members who have deposited in the past, or have a non-bonus balance before they play are eligible?

Or maybe you used winnings from a freeroll to register in pay tourneys, and that broke their terms (which I can't find...)?

Frankly, I am coming to a belief that these "Freerolls" were designed to get people into play "Regularly" with these casinos and now the casinos are finding out that alot of the players only play the free slots and DON'T deposit...

So, they're whipping out maze-like rules that benefit the casino and not the player...Just another day in RTG land..;D
  • You're onto something Genenco.  IMO Freerolls (at some of these places--I've found most RTGs that offer them you can cashout the winnings) are lures designed to get you to pay for tournaments, which are extremely difficult to play profitably.

@Winnington: I've had my freeroll winnings at InetBet (and now Doyles Room) deemed worthless because I didn't pay for the them with my own deposit money. (I have been a longstanding depositor at InetBet--*was a longstanding depositor  >:(

  • Ridiculous

  • i know the casinos cant just give out money but it seems fair enough that if you have deposited in the past you should be allowed to play the freerolls.I just don't know why i keep running back to rtg casinos with their crazy rules(i do love their slots kiss kiss tongue)anyways i guess they will never be like rival who gives bonuses to depositors and sometimes non depositors on a ok basis and even vegas tech who's tourneys are very hard to win but at least by some quirk if you do you get the winnings lol food for thought

  • I made a fair bit on a pay slot tourney there last weekend.  Requested a payment and it came quick... actually quicker than any payment I've ever had from an rtg casino (12 hours).

It was a pay tourney that I deposited for, and played a bit of BJ on the winnings, so it's not exactly the same situation, but I just wanted to say that at the very least, they pay on paid entry tournaments.

  • where were you playing at?and congrats by the way

  • I won $300 at Doyle's.

  • WOW do tell did you get to keep it?was it a freeroll?are you a depositer? cool

  • I'd love to be wrong.  Facts are I never deposited at Doyles, and managed to win some money.  Maybe being a depositor makes all of the difference.  I just hated I could not keep my freeroll winnings (or make money from my winnings) because I hadn't deposited.
