  • I hope I'm posting in the correct place.  Can someone PLEASE help me when it come to a US player using Bitcoin?  I'm trying to redeem my credits by getting the $25 Bitcoin, but not sure if I can or if I can when and how to use it.  One of my favorite casinos is Casino Extreme and they accept Bitcoin.

    Any help would be appreciated!

  • Casino Extreme is easily one of the simplest and best places to deposit using Bitcoin as I have used that method very recently but make sure you enter the correct Bitcoin amount that is required or they will need a search party to find your deposit.

  • Thanks Lane!  Could you please      (OR ANYONE ELSE READING THIS)          help me again, and tell me the steps to take to get the $25 Bitcoin into Extreme?  I tried redeeming the $25 Neteller first, but there was a problem with Neteller. LCB informed me of this yesterday but hasn't put my $25 back into my account yet.  And they haven't answered my messages yet either. hysterical

I've researched Bitcoin, and believe somehow I use "Circle"? I opened an account with Circle a little further back but have never used Bitcoins. If LCB puts my $25 back in, and I redeem my $25 with a Bitcoin purchase, I don't know what to do next?

Again, your help is greatly appreciated!  (I'm actually a 6th grade teacher who is bedridden due to the flew "Cough! Cough!...."  and was trying to figure out this.... "Bitcoin".... while I have the time.

    Thanks Bunches!  Angie

  • Plus, I got this back from LCB yesterday and I questioned....why? but haven't been answered yet:

    "Hi Larry,

They tried to pay your Neteller request but it came back

“This recipient can not accept money transfers at this time.”

Please either have Skrill or Paypal and let me know which one you want and your email address.

    Thanks
    B    "

I'm not sure why Neteller stated that, but anyway, I have an account with Skrill but they want verification using my SSN and I stopped at that request, so now I want to use Bitcoin (which I would have purchased in the first place but didn't know Casino Extreme took Bitcoin because I always used Visa).

Anyway,  I'm still waiting to hear from LCB to find out where my $25.00 even is? Sigh.

    Again....Thanx to Any Help!

  • This is whould you can do.
    1) Open an Bitcoin account f.e
    https://blockchain.info/

Blockchain is a very big site and therefore a site you can trust. Go to wallet and open an account. The account looks so 1Ny356xxxxx, something like that and it is very long.

    2) Go to the LCB shop and purchase the item
Automatically they would ask you for your account number. Give the account number.

It might take 24h to get it because LCB need this amount of time to aproof it.

Be aware how to log-in in your account but all of the information you get from blockchain via e-mail. I mean, log-in for at least one time to see how it works.

You need an bitcoin account and you can have much more than one, I have 3 or 4 f.e.

  • I recommend Circle which you said you already did or Coinbase because they are very U.S. friendly. You need  to have a bank debit or credit card. I have both and I deposit frequently. Neteller is not an option to deposit anywhere in the United States.

  • Circle and Coinbase are of course good enough too. Blockchain was just an example because I do not deposit there, I just have it for my transactions. Neteller allows you to deposit (money in) with BTC because this is ok but you cannot get money out because they are considering bitcoin as some kind of competition. This means that you cannot send BTC from your Neteller account somewhere.

Important is to have a bitcoin account otherwise you cannot purchase anything from the LCB shop.

  • Thanks again okotomi1!
I went into Circle and figured it out, THANKS to YOUR help, and received my first address. So, now I'm getting ready to do the money thang.'

Just wanted to let ya' know you helped me bunches and saved me time.

    Thanx  Thanx  Thanx

    Angie

  • Circle is the easier, Local Bit Coins would be the next easiest way to deal with Bit Coins in the US.

It's all a matter of what your looking for really.

Seeing how your in the US.  Neteller isn't accepting payments from anyone outside of the US for US based members.  There only setup to take casino payments from New Jersey.

Otherwise Bit Coin is easy and pie as soon as you get a BTC address really.

  • Did you guys see the surge last night? It was up over $435 but settled back down to $420 range... If the Bitcoin Forum Trolls are correct, then it will continue to rise through the end of the month. smiley
  • No.  I didn't see that, but that you for your FYI.

  •             Yes I keep an eye on the Bitcoin value all the time Jenna.  I  didn't know it got to $435.  Last I checked it was around  $420- $422  depending on where you look.    It's getting more expensive to deposit (mBTC).      Can't believe how fast it's risen.  Wish I had bought a bunch about a month ago!!  laugh_out_loud

  • IMPORTANT:

If you use circle or coinbase, NEVER send bitcoin directly TO or FROM a gambling website.

Always send from circle/coinbase ---> your wallet ----> Gambling site.

They follow regulations and close accounts that send bitcoin directly to casinos. (darknet markets as well)

Also, I always encourage everyone to be in control of their bitcoin and by not using a website like blockchain except to keep small ammounts for mobile access.

There's nothing to suggest blockchain is going to steal your bitcoin, but you're really just giving your bitcoin to a third party who sends it where you want for you.  (Mt Gox used to be what everyone used, which ended very very badly)

Electrum is probably the easiest to get set up. electrum.org

It will create a seed that looks like this:

relax armed funny tumble tree trophy junior fit raw hockey subject system abstract

This is the key to your wallet, if you know those words, you will be able to access your bitcoin from anywhere in the world.  (along with your password if you encrypt)

From there you will have infinte address created for sending and receiving bitcoin.
  •                   Thanks for the tip Larry.  I've been using Circle for  a little over a year now and really never had any problems (so far).  I don't generally send from Circle directly though.    Kind of curious,  though,  how can they know where that long ass address goes?

  • Many find Bitcoin appealing because they can use it anonymously.  However Bitcoin is actually the LEAST anonymous currency in the world.

Every bitcoin transaction is recorded on the blockchain.

Once you figure out the identity of the person or business that controls a wallet, it's pretty easy to keep track of when they receive or send bitcoins.  When you know the identities behind more than one address, you can see when one sends to the other.

Thats why there are "tumbling services" for people who want to actually be anonymous where they send their bitcoin to one address, and receive bitcoin at a new address from an address unrelated to the original transaction.

An exchange which holds financial licenses based on a centralized currency, they have to follow strict rules, which usually include making sure doing everything in your power to prevent your customers from using your service to launder money, buy or sell illegal things or....gamble.

Circle explains it better than me:
    https://support.circle.com/hc/en-us/articles/204691914-It-s-not-you-it-s-me-User-Agreement-Violations-

But trust me, if you keep making deposits at casinos directly from your circle account, it's only a matter of time, they will close your account without warning.  It happens all the time, google "Coinbase/Circle closed my account reddit"

  •             Thanks Finallyfinally,  sorry, I  meant to give you the credit,  anyways,  that's very interesting if not disturbing.

  • Weird right?

If you give someone some bitcoin, the "anonymous" currency, anyone in the world can see the transaction.

    But pay someone cash...

  • I really honestly stopped using Circle and Coinbase for a while now anywho.  Too much red tape going on with both companies.  To me using an anonymous currency should be just that.  Forking over an ID, banking information, where you work for, etc, etc.  Just seems like too much work.  I realize this was what was required for them to become a money transmitter.  Yet that whole page just seems to be more of a scare tactic than anything.

As said before I love using places like Local Bit Coin and Paxful for this reason.  The sellers on there aren't going to have near the issues with you doing what you like with your coin.  As Coinbase and Circle are.  Now of course if you plan on going to do something that might harm someone or actually cause damage to the world.  On that note I can't imagine too many sellers would be happy to sell someone coin for that particular reason.

I'm sure for the average joe using Coinbase and Circle for coin purchases, even if for a casino.  I'm sure most aren't going to be shut down over it.  Mainly because the purchases and winnings aren't going to be huge anyways.  Most I'm sure would be under $1,000.  If anything that only time I would get upset and worried.  Is if I won a HUGE jackpot, like some of them I've won over the last few months.  Then you might have some issues.

Thank you for the article though.

Just to clarify:  You're money isn't at risk.  If they shut down your account for something like this they give you all your money or Bitcoin.

    You just lose the account.

  • Oh I understand that, just like when I read about people having there ability to sell or buy more coins was restricted.  Essentially they'll allow you to transfer out, but any further incoming transfers, buys, or sells would be restricted.  That's why I got out of both.

I understand they have to follow the regulations of the US.  After I hit big and got my 32 BTC first win.  I bailed and found other alternatives to them.  That way I wouldn't have to worry about my sale not going through.
