Hey guys, I found this interesting reading!!
WILKES-BARRE – A bookkeeper for an organization that benefits people suffering from cerebral palsy has been charged with embezzling more than $100,000 from the organization during a 10-year period.
Ann Patricia Hudanick, 58, of Matson Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, was arraigned before District Judge William Amesbury on Tuesday on a charge of theft by unlawful taking. She was released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
According to an arrest affidavit:
Hudanick worked for Creating Unlimited Possibilities, formerly known as United Cerebral Palsy of Luzerne County. She admitted she stole the money to feed an addiction to bingo, which she played at least five times a week.
The theft was discovered in November 2008 after an auditor noticed discrepancies in the expense account for building repairs and vehicle maintenance.
Hudanick was interviewed by police in December 2008 and she admitted she stole the money by accessing a restricted account held at Choice One Credit Union. She said she would make unauthorized withdrawals ranging from $300 to $1,000 at a time.
The charges were filed after the completion of a forensic audit, which determined $100,000 to $120,000 was missing.

Its amazing what people will do when they have an addiction. Desperate measures are taken in all walks of extreme addictions.

Is that CRAZY or what!!!! Really it is sad. I could care less if she stole from some millionaire, but from a group that REALLY NEEDS the money!! They need to lock her up and throw away the key!!
