The game is played with a deck of 52 cards (standard pack) along with the two Jokers, making it a total of 54 cards in each deck that is played. To start the game, the player clicks on the deal button after which the computer deals out a hand of five cards. The player then makes a decision of whether to retain this hand or discard a few cards. If the player chooses to discard any of his/her cards, then the pack is reshuffled and fresh cards from the reshuffled pack replace the cards that have been let go by the player. If the player does not make any discards, that will form his final hand, otherwise the hand formed with the replacements makes up the final hand. The computer then checks the final hand against the payout table for any winning hands. If the player holds a winning hand, he/she can choose to gamble the winnings for a chance to walk away with double the prize money. This option could result in a double-or-nothing situation for the player.
