Around the World is an arcade game that is part of Playtech’s specialty arcade games series. The game is played on a wheel with 52 sections that are numbered from 1 to 49 and the remaining three secti...
ions are the special stops sections. The object of the game is to guess whether the final number that the wheel stops is higher or lower than a certain number. if the player has very few incorrect guesses after playing the game for a while, the player wins a higher payout up to a maximum of 105 times the initial bet.
The game is played in four separate levels and each level has seven steps to get through before you are allowed into the next level. When the player begins to play a level, the computer draws a random number between 1 and 49 which is showed to the player, and the player then guesses if the number that is drawn is higher or lower than the result of the next spin of the wheel. Each correct guess advances the player to the next step. With each incorrect guess, the player collects a strike, and there are a total of 3 strikes allowed before the game restarts.
The three special characters in the game are the “advance one step”, “Advance to the end of the level” and “strike removed” sections. These are self explanatory and allow the player to jut either to the next step, end of the level or have one of his/her strikes removed respectively. When the player reaches the end of level one with no strikes, it is a push and the player gets his money back. If the player has no strikes at the end of level 1, he/she receives 2.5 times the initial bet. The payouts progressively increase with each level.
