The object of the game is to hold the strongest possible hand among a set of 5 cards. The advantage of the 4 Line version of the game is that it is played with four separate packs of 52 cards each (without jokers or wild cards). This means that the player has a larger chance of forming a winning combination with a set of cards. In any game of Aces and Faces, there is a special high payout for a hand which holds four Aces or four Face cards or King, Queen or Jack.

Like with any other game of Aces and Faces Video Poker, the game begins with the player making a wager. This wager depends on the machine at which the game is being played. Most casinos have machines with coin denominations ranging from $0.05 to $5 and allow the player to wager up to 5 coins per hand. A larger initial wager will mean a higher payout when a winning combination is found in any of the four hands.
