Like with any other game of video poker, the player can wager up to five coins per hand, and the coin value depends on the machine chosen. The game starts when the machine deals out a set of five cards. The player then decides which cards to keep and which to discard. The game then deals out fresh cards from a reshuffled deck to replace the discards. This final hand is then analyzed for a winning combination.

The minimum winning combination is a pair of Jacks or better which pays 1:1 on the initial bet. The game gets its name from the fact that a combination of four Aces or four face cards (Jack, Queen and King) has a very high payout (40:1 for face cards and 80:1 for four aces). The highest payout is for a Royal Flush, which pays 4000 coins for an initial bet of 5 coins.
