When it comes to witches versus warlocks, the women always win. That was my philosophy when I played Witches and Warlocks at InterCasino.
Cryptologic has quite a few games with frightening themes. It had been ages since I played Witches and Warlocks. I was spinning at £1.25. On the reels the Warlock symbol is wild. He substitutes all except the Witch symbol. Three of her triggers the bonus game.
Of course the music accompanying this slot game is scary and the symbols are freaky things like skulls, spells, brooms, witches brew, black cats, crystal balls, evil pumpkins and more. The only thing that isn’t scary is the Frightmare Jackpot. There are two tiers that are awarded completely at random.
I had some nice winning combos on the reels with the wilds but the star of the show was the bonus game for me. It took a while but I finally got it. You must choose either the Witch or the Warlock. I chose the Witch. Then, you must choose two spells to use against your opponent. I’m not sure what they were but I chose the ones that looked most powerful and scary. Finally, you are face to face in a scene that is similar to the Mortal Combat video game. Each character has a life meter. My Witch casted her spells and defeated the evil Warlock. I kicked his butt and won £50 in the process. I’d say that I had a successful bonus game.
I was no dumb witch so I took my win, hopped on my broom and flew off into the night sky.
