FedEx

FedEx Introduction

FedEx Corporation is a cargo and logistics company that has its head office at Memphis, Tennessee. The name of the company comes from shortening the name of their air division, Federal Express. The company is registered on the New York Stock Exchange under the abbreviation FDX, which was the original name of this company. Today, FedEx is a household name in the US, and it is one of the largest parcel services in the country.

In 1998, Federal Express acquired Caliber Systems, and underwent a name change to FDX Corporation, which marked the beginning of FedEx’s ventures into other areas, rather than just express shipping. The change in name from FDX Corp to FedEx Corporation happened in the year 2000, and the company has become more diversified through the years.

How does FedEx Work?

Making a casino payment through FedEx is a very simple process, and it is also one of the most secure ways of transferring money from your bank account into your casino account. Making a payment into a casino account through FedEx refers to a check or bank draft delivery using the FedEx parcel service. Withdrawals through FedEx also.

FedEx guarantees overnight delivery of any check or bank draft to a casino account. In order to make a deposit, the player simply makes out a check to the casino account and parcels it to the address provided on the casino website. It is important to include a player identity number or name when sending a check via FedEx. The sender is charged for this transaction, however if the deposit amount is over $300, then FedEx will reimburse it into the casino account.

In order to withdraw from a casino account, the FedEx package is delivered from the casino to the player’s address. This delivery usually takes anywhere between one day and three days for the amount to reach the player. It is however possible to request same day delivery as well, but this process is a little more expensive. Making withdrawals using FedEx involves a fee of $25, which is fixed no matter how much money is withdrawn. FedEx will also provide deliveries on Saturday with an extra $10 in fees.

FedEx Pros and Cons

As with any payment method, FedEx also has a number of pros and cons, and it is important to figure out if FedEx is the right method for you.

The first reason why FedEx is convenient is that it is fast and simple to use. The parcel will be picked up from the player’s doorstep and delivered to the casino, and vice versa. In recent years, many payment methods are refusing to accept new players from the US, however FedEx is more than happy to accept new US players, making it very convenient for these players. Finally, the FedEx service can be tracked, so at every step of the way, the player will know where exactly his/her money is.

The problem with the FedEx service is that it can be a little expensive for withdrawals and deposits under $300. There is also the additional waiting time while the check clears with the bank, which means that effectively all withdrawals and deposits will take a minimum of 3 days to come through.
