Greater emphasis on digital marketing on the cards at William Hill plc
The UK professional publication Marketing Magazine reports that Kristof Fahy, who joined the William Hill betting group as marketing and brand director at the beginning of 2010, is carrying out an extensive review of the group marketing strategies.
The magazine reports that Fahy is not only studying the company's GBP 5 million advertising account, but intends to place more emphasis on digital marketing going forward. Fahy was previously Yahoo!'s vice-president of international marketing,
It is believed that The Brooklyn Brothers agency, which was hired in November 2009, will lose the work, despite having recently completed a project in association with ITV to promote William Hill's betting products during the latter stages of the FA Cup and Champions League .
