The beleaguered company to be handled by UK specialists

An announcement finally came from Purple Lounge parent group Media Corp regarding the appointment of liquidators for the company, and according to it, it was decided that Baker Tilly UK should supervise the liquidation.

In Section 98 of the Insolvency Act 1986 the notice states that a meeting of the creditors of the above named company will be held at The Clock House, 140 London Road, Guildford, Surrey GU1 1UW on 23 July 2012 at 10.30 am.

Not long after the notice was issued, players who are owed the money by Purple Lounge started discussing about submitting their claims.

In addition, it has been specified that the shareholders’ meeting has been convened for 23 July 2012 to pass a resolution for the winding up of the company, and that a full list of the names and addresses of the company’s creditors may be examined free of charge at the offices of Baker Tilly Restructuring and Recovery LLP, The Clock House, 140 London Road, Guildford, Surrey GU1 1UW between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm on the two business days prior to the day of the meeting.
