The Swedish Lotteri Inspektione says that an ad from Reklamombudsmanen regarding a Unibet ad campaign involving the text "play for $100 risk free at Sweden's largest gaming site" is irresponsible as it suggest that not only is it safe to play at Unibet but also that it is the largest gaming operator in Sweden.
Vera&John was also on the authority’s radar due to the content of a banner ad that displayed a picture of a happy woman with the accompanying text reading "From broke to 122 000" followed by "in a few hours", followed by "Mary's intuition paid off."
The authority deemed both ads a contradiction to the rules in place for advertising and marketing from the International Chamber of Commerce.
