Top marketer for a respected bookmaker
Top European bookmaking firm Stan James appointed Andrew Denton as Marketing Director, with the new appointee taking up his responsibilities at the beginning of the (2010) year.
A graduate of Liverpool John Moores University and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Denton has over 14 years experience in direct and brand marketing and a successful track record in driving change and delivering results. He has extensive experience of building customer acquisition and retention strategies and developing brand propositions to drive business growth.
Prior to joining Stan James, he was Head of Customer Experience with William Hill Online and was a director of William Hill Gibraltar. Other experience with the William Hill group gave him experience in affiliate marketing and in scoping, development and implementation of new business wide MI, Analytics and Campaign Management platforms.
Before entering the industry, Denton held senior marketing management posts with Bank of America and MBNA Europe, and was e-Business Project Manager for Britannic Assurance plc. He also has experience as new media and marketing consultant for Royal & Sun Alliance plc, was marketing manager for St Helens College, and was New Media Advertising & Promotions Manager for the Tussauds Group.
