Rival Gaming has withdrawn from the UK market based on notifications sent from licensees to players and affiliates, who have been notified that UK players were blocked as of July 25th.
There was no official explanation provided for the exit from the market but there is speculation that it could have something to do with the new licensing regulations effecting software suppliers.
Licensing requires mandatory operational disclosures and complying with such regulations is proving difficult for providers.
According the last report from the UK Gambling Commission, there has been number of operators have withdrawn from the UK rather than comply with the changes.

I have heard that some operators have pulled out because of the new tax rates, but I have never heard of one to pull out due to the mandatory operational disclosures required for licensing. Sounds like RIVAL may have something to hide. This is certainly something to think about before deciding to play at a Rival casino....

Sounds like RIVAL may have something to hide. This is certainly something to think about before deciding to play at a Rival casino. At onetime not too long ago, they dropped US players faster than a hot potato. Most of them have prefigured that one and now US players are allowed again. They can be pretty wishy washy, if that makes sense.......

Rival is narrowing down there source of players. Id be surprised if they were still around in the year or years to come.

I can say, UK gambling commision is one of the most respective institutions in Gambling/Online gambling. There are strictly regulations to all operations, so ofcourse, no exceptions will be made in the future. Rival Gaming has to re-think the strategy they doing, because, there are such a strong competitors and if they keeping same line, I cannot see nothing but bankruptcy. Things cahnged, since the first online casino were launched and now, no fools around.

Rival has been pulling some truly weird stuff all over the world lately. I ran into a true nut case myself at a Rival casino recently. Rival has been pulling some truly weird stuff all over the world lately. I ran into a true nut case myself at a Rival casino recently. She took offence at me pointing out that a gift should not be something one is charged for. So she sent me an email notifying me that I was an ingrate and that she was going to block me from playing at all Rival casino's, and then she made good on her threat. All of my open Rival accounts were closed without notification. It was months before i was allowed to open any new accounts at any new Rivals that opened. I have been able to open a couple since then, but I am very hesitant to deposit or share my banking info with any Rival now. One hates to dump the entire bushel because of one bad apple, but well, her actions, and the ease with which she took these actions have left me with a truly bad taste in my mouth when it comes to Rivals. This is not the first time I have had a problem at a Rival casino, but I have decided it will be the last.

What are these licensing regulations that casinos such as this do not feel like complying with? s it about fair play? It makes me uneasy playing anywhere that locks out depositing players so they do not have to comply with rules set out to protect players.
