Range of eight skill games now offered to the Italian market

Following the successful launch of its Ongame Internet poker product in the Italian market, Vienna-listed online gambling group Bwin became the first operator authorised by AAMS (the State Monopolies Autonomous Administration) to launch its real-money skill games this week.

As of January 5th, 2009, eight skill games became available on Bwin.it: Solitaire, Blackjack, 3 Card Poker, Yatzy, Eldorado, Formula 0.01, Backgammon, and 8-Ball Billard.

"As the world's leading online gaming company, bwin continues to fortify its position in the Italian market as a genuine 'house of games' with sports bets and online poker – and now also with real-money skill games", commented Co-CEO Norbert Teufelberger.

Bwin's skill games are licensed and regulated by the Provincial Government of Åland under license number is K 14/05/5/129, granted to GamArena Ab and Ålands Penningautomatförening in 2006.
