Back PLAYSTUDIOS and Genting International Extend Partnership

Social casino developer, PLAYSTUDIOS, and Genting International have extended their partnership. The two have been working together since December 2015, after inking a contract with Resorts World Birmingham. Doing so will allow them to deliver real rewards to UK players via operators under the Genting UK brand, which consists of more than 40 destinations.

Rewards are given through the company’s myVEGAS and myKONAMI slots and blackjack apps, and include hotel stays, show tickets, free play, complimentary meals, and VIP nightclub access.

Currently, PLAYSTUDIOS has also teamed up with London’s Hippodrome Casino, which is working to expand beyond the US market. The social casino developer is also offering rewards via additional partners, including Cirque du Soleil, MGM Resorts’ casinos, Allegiant Air, Wolfgang Puck restaurants, and Royal Caribbean International cruise line.

According to vice president of business development for PLAYSTUDIOS, Jeff Netzer, "We're delighted that a sophisticated global player like Genting continues to find value in their association with us and recognizes that our casual casino games are highly effective and efficient channels for building their brands and driving measurable business benefit.”

Barry Clemo, Genting UK strategy director, stated “We believe myVEGAS fits well with what Genting Casinos UK has to offer, and their suite of popular social casino apps gives us the opportunity to reach a broader market in the UK."

Clemo further added, "Through myVEGAS and my KONAMI Slots, we are able to introduce a large and valuable demographic to our extensive casino estate and the exciting shopping and entertainment offerings that are part of Resorts World Birmingham."
