Intralot and GTech make it to the shortlist
Based on the latest announcements from the Greek market, as the country’s betting monopoly OPAP will face the expiration of its current IT supplying deal with Intralot in July 2012, the group decided to start looking for a supplier that will help it pursue its plans to expand outside Greece.
Reportedly, the suppliers that made it to the shortlist include Intralot and Lottomatica subsidiary GTECH, whereas it seems that OPAP excluded US-based Scientific Games Corp who had shown an interest in bidding for the contract.
