Valuable recognition for Bet365 founder and chief exec Denise Coates
The current New Year Honours list, among other names, contains that of Denise Coates, the dynamic founder and chief exec of top UK online gambling group bet365, it has been reported this week and specified that Coates will receive a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) accolade for services to the community and business.
Coates founded Bet365 back in 2000, when it operated with the help of minimal staff in a portable building, turning it into a company that now employs more than 1,700 people and makes multi-million pound sterling profits.
Denise Coates is the owner of just over half the shares in bet365.

Well, good for her! I wonder if she is still the majority share holder of the Bet365? I would love to hear her side of the story regarding the recent suspension & tax debacle. :)
