New Finnish operations for Mr Green

Kati Niemelä to head new regional operations

Mikael Pawlo, md of the rapidly expanding Scandinavian online casino company Mr Green.com has announced the start of Finnish operations under the management of recently hired Kati Niemelä.

Prior to joining Mr Green, Niemelä had almost 10 years of management experience in the Finnish marketing department at PepsiCo and with international advertising agency JWT. Her background includes the successful launches of several mega brands in the region, including PepsiCo and Mountaindew.

Commenting on her appointment this week, Niemelä said: "The dynamism of the company and its fearless attitude towards marketing drew me to the role and I see this as a real opportunity to lead innovative marketing campaigns that will launch and grow Mr Green in yet another Nordic market."

"Kati's experience in working with global mega brands and leading PepsiCo brands in the cola war will prove very useful with building our brand in Finland" said Mikael Pawlo, managing director Mr Green.

Mr Green is active in most Nordic markets and has plans to venture further afield in Europe. The company was started by two of the original founders of the Betsson group.
