This year Microgaming turned its annual festive season client gift program into international charitable donations.
Clients were asked to take a poll in order to determine four charities to receive a portion of the GBP 30,000 budget. The company will be donating GBP 7,500 HIV children's charity Chiva in Africa; The WWF wild life conservation fund; Australia's cancer research charity Cure Cancer; and the British Red Cross in Asia.

One day I hope to be playing at a Microgaming casino. With that said, I too agree that $30,000 doesn't seem to be much and it looks like even less when it is divided up, but it does set a good example for others online to follow.

I agree it doesn't seem much as what they earn every year etc. But still a very nice thing to give something to charity :)

I would have hopped they would give more, like LuckyRJ said.. but it's better than nothing, I can't name other companies like Microgaming that does this king of gesture. Nicely done, maybe they would do this every year from now on.

Maybe is small portion of money but something is better than nothing. If every one in online gambling would make such donation it would be a lot of money.

LOL, sorry i had to laugh, i know this is a good thing that they gave some money to charity, but £30,000, that is not very generous is it, i bet the employees earn more than that in bonuses or yearly salary :( Such a big company and this is all they can give :(
