Gross profit grows by 700 percent

The year-to-date results ending with Sept. 30, 2010, presented by the UK online gambling and media company Media Corp, which includes gambling.com and online casino purple-lounge.com, have showed an impressive 700 percent growth in gross profits.

The company’s gross profit amounted to GBP 6.3 million (FY/2009: GBP 900 000), whereas the revenues were at GBP25.6 million (FY/2009: GBP 3.5 million).

According to the company CEO Justin Drummond: “While increased marketing and software costs impacted profitability in the second half, the additional marketing spend has delivered substantial growth in player numbers and revenues.”
