Major boost for Bet365

Independent survey of Top 100 companies includes Staffordshire-based online gambling firm

Online gambling group Bet365.com received a major boost this week with the news that it has been included at number 3 in a list of 100 UK firms with the fastest growing profits.

The company, which employs more than 800 people at its Etruria, Staffordshire headquarters, features in the latest Sunday Times PriceWaterhouseCoopers Profit Track 100 list, reports the local newspaper The Sentinel.

The league features Britain's 100 private companies with the fastest-growing profits, measured over the last three years.

Bet365 grew profits by an average of 138 percent a year over the three-year assessment period. Group profits rose from GBP 5.2 million in 2006 to GBP 70.8 million in 2009.
