Is EwalletXpress Pulling out of the US Market?

There is a veil of skepticism that has a come across the minds of the American online gambler. EwalletXpress, a payment processor for US players, went down on Friday November 12th due to an "upgrade". When the site became available later the next day, there was something missing. There is no banking option to make a deposit. EwalletXpress claims that they are having "technical difficulties".

EwalletXpress is very vague to offer a reasonable explanation. Customers are given a generic answer of "we should be operational shortly". The question is who will they be operational for? Will the US be left out in the cold once again. Or is this a false alarm that set off a senseless panic among American players.

There is no reassurance in the slightest that the US will continue to be allowed to make deposits. Maybe the reason for the long delays in responding and vague answers by support are due to the overwhelming amount of customers they are handling at the moment with the very same question. One thing is for sure, if they deny US deposits, it will hurt the online gambling market worse than it already has.

Some speculate that before the US moves forward to lift the ban on online gambling, all processors accepting US customers will be ceased. If this is case it is the "storm before the quiet". The US is preparing to set their own terms and regulations before allowing processors to accept the US again and lift the ban.

If EwalletXpress is having "technical difficulties" we may have all been spared, but it is all a matter of time.
