A fight-themed slot to be created for the UK market
A deal has been closed this week between the US gambling moguls Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta, who own the Ultimate Fighting Championship franchise, and reputable online slot games developer Endemol, based on which a UFC-themed online slot will be produced for the UK market.
Apart from the UFC franchise, the Fertitta group also owns the Station Casinos land gambling group, which makes this deal perfectly understandable, especially when one has in mind their unhidden interest in the prospects of online gambling in the States.
According to Lawrence Epstein, UFC executive vice president, "Everybody wants to make money, but even more important than that, this is a great extension of our brand."
