IGT Announces New Merger

WagerWorks and Million-2-1 to merge into a single global division

A company specialized in the production of gaming machines, system products, as well as online and mobile gaming products for regulated markets, International Game Technology (IGT) reported that the company will establish an interactive division, which will bring together its online and mobile business - WagerWorks and Million-2-1.

The plan is to merge the two businesses into a single global division. The head of the division based in San Francisco will be IGT Executive Vice President Gideon Bierer, who commented on this new development: “As technology advances and markets evolve, we look forward to accelerating our product innovation and significantly growing our interactive business."

As per the management team of this new division which will operate in regulated, legal markets globally, it is consisted of experienced professionals from the gaming, technology and content industries, such as executives from St. Minver, Yahoo!, Paypal, Paddy Power, Oracle, MTV Networks, Fox, EA, Hewlett-Packard, Hands-On Mobile, Sony, Victor Chandler, and the UK Tote.
