Back ICC Will Happen at Iconic Hippodrome

The 2015 International Casino Conference (ICC), which is scheduled to take place on Monday, February 2nd, has officially been appointed with a venue. This year’s conference will transpire in the renowned Hippodrome Casino, located in Leicester Square in London.

ICE Marketing Director, Jo Mayer, comments on the uniqueness of this year’s ICC, stating, "This is the first time that the International Casino Conference has been taken out of a conventional conference-style setting and we could not have wished for a more prestigious and appropriate venue than the Hippodrome.”

Mayer further adds, “Following a three-year renovation programme costing £40m, the Hippodrome was named Casino Of The Year 2013, just six months after it opened. With a cabaret theatre attracting international stars including Dionne Warwick and Joss Stone and critically claimed restaurants and bars – there's no doubt that the Hippodrome is no ordinary casino and a perfect venue at which to host our ICC delegates."

This conference will serve as a precursor for ICE, an event recognized as the world’s most prominent happening in gaming, which is set to take place from February 3rd to the 5th. It will immediately follow the conference at London’s ExCeL Centre, which is in collaboration with Clarion Events and the European Casino Association

Various big wigs are expected to attend the conference, including Presidents, CEOs and Board Members of all of the largest casino groups in Europe, as it is affiliated with the European Casino Association. Together in one space, such prominent individuals will be given the opportunity to share their opinions and deliberate serious issues which face the land-based industry today. In addition, they will also have the chance to hear from key speakers such as Harrie Temmink, Deputy Head, Online & Postal Unit, DG Internal Market & Services at the European Commission, all of whom are expected to relate details that are relevant to the topic.

Monday, February 2nd, will mark the first of eight targeted learning events that cover all of gaming's vertical markets. Aside from the ICC, the ICE Conferences program includes: Betmarkets; Cross-Platform & Multi-Channel Gaming; Cybercrime, Security & Regulatory Compliance; Data Insight & Business Intelligence; Game Design & Development; Lotteries For The Future; and, World Regulatory Briefing. Those attending will have the chance to opt for a passport which will allow for access to all areas, to survey the entire program.
