GTECH subsidiary adds WW games to its MarginMaker system

Major European online gambling operators such as Stan James, Betfred, Boylesports and Sportingbet will be expanding their games offering shortly following a deal by GTECH subsidiary Finsoft with the online gambling games developer Wagerworks.

In terms of the deal, Finsoft is integrating the new games from the WagerWorks portfolio into its MarginMaker GamesRoom platform, allowing Finsoft client operators to extend their games variety to players.

The Finsoft MarginMaker platform is based on investment banking technology and experience and is coupled with real-time betting transaction and risk management. The fully scaleable architecture has helped clients realise substantial increases in operating margins on existing business, and enabled them to capture new business at significantly lower marginal costs.

Finsoft has also confirmed the conclusion of a deal with Sportech plc to distribute that company's football pool products in licensed betting outlets belonging to two of Finsoft's UK-based clients and across two bookmaker chains in eastern Europe.
